Breh my hair the same way, curly and soft as hell. I waited a year to start my locs, and after the 6th month mark I stopped combing/picking my hair and just let my curls rock. You can get dreads breh, the beginning process is a bytch (they'll unravel after a couple days) but stay persistent.

I've had my locs for a year now and I love it. Letting my newgrowth rock for another month before I get them done again, I love the rough look of my locs, real rasta shyt

@Jayne posted this dude in the brehettes Rate this Guy thread a few days ago who had dreads, and he had a few of his tips bleached.

I never thought about that, always figured if I did it I'd have to get ALL of them bleached, think I'm gonna go get that done this year.
