Again, how is 37 on 27 attempts better than 32 on 20 attempts. You just admitted that there's a big difference between a player averaging 5 more PPG so why aren't you applying that fact that it took Jordan SEVEN MORE ATTEMPTS to average that plus 5.

The disparity between their attempts is higher than the disparity in PPG. Your own logic is proving me right.

If 37 PPG is much more than 32 PPG than 27 ATTEMPTS (Aka the stat that you said was important) is much more than 20 attempts.

Try again.

:russ: We just gonna have to agree to disagree breh.

You keep bringing up shyt I said I don't care about from jump.

I could see if Jordan shot a shytty percentage or somthing, But if you average damn near 40 on almost 50% shooting then that's IT TO ME :yeshrug:

You can add all that other nerd shyt in but it won't change the fact that JORDAN SCORED MORE while shooting a great percentage.

I'm bout to pull up some old Bulls games on Youtube :mjcry::blessed:

dumb fukks throwing a stat out the window because they dont understand it lmao

how you gonna compare FG % between players when one of the guys takes half of his shots from three :deadmanny:

THE THREE IS WORTH ONE MORE POINT, how the fukk do people struggle with this

shooting 45 % from three will give you more points per shot than shooting 50 % from the field. It's basic math. True shooting percentage accounts for both threes made and freethrows. In this era, it literally makes no sense NOT using TS %, or atleast eFG % that accounts for threes and twos (not FTs).

Nikkas can't accept that someone could ever have a better year than Jordan.

Doesn't mean he's better. It just means he's having an unbelievable year.

Like....I love Kobe (this is well documented) and I can admit he's doing things Kobe couldn't do. Kobe was dangerous how he could get on fire and outscore entire teams but, he was never able to efficiently shoot/score like Curry for long periods. Curry is just absolutely nasty. Lebron might have to accept his time is over :mjcry:

Watching old videos from Steph in college. These youtube comments are hilarious.

:mjlol:

Tyreke is the best rookie this season. He manages to keep a 20 5 and 5 each game. Curry's game is inconsistent. Just because you have court vision doesn't mean you're the best point guard. Tyreke can drive, steal, and when the game is on the line, he's clutch. He made a lot of Kings fans have hope. Curry is just a jump shooter that has people like Turiaf, Randolf, and Biedrens to help him out in the low post. Face the fact, Tyreke Evans is better.
I thought Tyreke was the next Wade :snoop:

You're a complete dumbass. I'm using the exact metrics you said mattered (Points scored and how many tries did it take) and asking you to explain how 32 PPG on 20 attempts is less impressive than 37 on 27 attempts.

Like your logic is Iverson is better scorer than Durant because he scored more points on way more attempts.

Would Steve Nash have been a better player if he was more selfish like Curry was on those early Suns teams?

Most likely yes. That said, he did play on like 6 of the top 10 offensive teams of all-time so I'm not sure how much their offense actually could improve. They were always at the top offensively, even when you compare them historically.

Nash couldn't create all the time like this, that's the thing that separates Curry from others, with or without a screen he can bake you because of his handle.

Nobody is going to predict someone becoming the best shooter of all time...

His style and the way this team is structured goes against all the traditional rules of basketball. It will be hilarious to see many teams try to replicate the formula and fail time and time again.

Bill Simmons mentioned it in his podcast here and I agree with it (36 minutes in)

Yeah Curry is obviously a much better player I'm just saying maybe Nash was easier to defend because he was so pass happy. I always felt he shot too little for someone with his ability.

I knew Steph would be a 20 ppg scorer in the league eventually but never did i think he would get to the level he is at now. That shows that scouts are totally wrong when they say a player is a finished product by 22. Cause Steph has obviously worked on his game over the years cause he was always nice but he wasnt this nasty with it till the past few seasons.
