Trump's plan: 2 pages

Biden's plan: 22+ pages (excluding citations)

:francis:

22 pages of stuff for white women, and men of color

Neither plan is helping blacks, so length don't matter :dame:

Can we just focus on how incompetent and racist trump is instead of pretending Biden and Kamala are going to help black people? I actually think that strategy would work much better for anyone with a 5th grade and above reading level

Here's Cube speaking with April Ryan back in August. One of the things that was said from April is she got a text message from someone in the Biden campaigned that said they would like to speak with Cube, Cube said he doesn't really wanna speak with no one but the candidates(Trump or Biden), but we learn Cube have spoken with neither candidates and with people from the Trump campaigned.

:mjlol: The bag was dropped to Cube :scust:Chrisette Michelle remix on deck :coffee:

One of the funniest things that has occurred in the last couple of months is watching these c00n Trump supporters play these schematic games. If a policy that is worded for people of color benefits 75% of African Americans than guess what it's a black policy. The fact that it needs to say black people to some in order for them to feel like it's a black plan is some 6th grader shyt. It's a part of this both sidesism bullshyt. You know damn well they can't come out with a "black" only plan because they're trying to get votes from all sorts of people so you create this ask that you know they'll never satisfy and than try to get on some both sides are the same shyt.

It's like the reparations issue. White America will never give out reparations so you put it out there as some demand knowing that it will never be satisfied just so you can have an excuse to sit on your hands and knees and do nothing.

1. In the bill, the recipients are listed as blacks or African Americans(black and AA are listed as interchangeable on govt documents like the census)

2. Them getting bags is alarming, when it could mean they're there just to get paid and not fix our wealth level.

3. It's listed as a study now, but it's important there's a commitment to allocating a $10T package to ADOS. If we as ADOS don't Hammer it down, the "commission" could decide that reparations could just be $1T in money to HBCUs(that's what Julianne Malveaux was hinting at the HR 40 hearing).

1. I don't know how much clearer I can say this. The bill doesn't appropriate money for reparations. At all. Any "recipients" listed are irrelevant because this bill doesn't appropriate reparations. If ever there was a time when reparations were to go out, there would be specific legislation written for that. HR40 is not that.

2. Nobody is going to work for free. I'm not sure whats alarming. It will likely take multiple months to gather all the data required for this. They're not going to do it for free.

3. Lol what would be the point of a study if you're just going to designate an arbitrary amount of money? Also 10T is laughable. We can barely afford 2T to bail this country out of one of the worst financial crises since the Great Depression.

Your heart is probably in the right place but alot of this shyt you're posting is non-sensical and the main reason why everybody shouldn't be sitting in at these meetings.

Politics is a tough game. There are a lot of moving pieces. I think Cube means well, but this aint it.
It honestly isn't.
Folks can spout all their degrees but in the grand scheme of things they haven't accomplished sh!t that benefits anyone. It's not anti intellectualism rhetoric either. People are growing tired of politicians and pundits.
The people who know what they're talking about understand the massive holes in Ice Cube's plan and realise he's being used as a Republican pawn for more white wealth accumulation.
You don't need a communications or political science or any other degree to be qualified to speak on politics. It's all publicly available information. But you should research and do due diligence to have well informed opinions. Especially if you are in a position of influence.

The problem with celebrity political punditry is that they often hear/read something and they just blab it out to millions of people while doing any type of fact finding.
Governmental administration, funding allocation, and accountancy expertise are absolutely areas of expertise. Cube only has the barest sense of what he's talking about - and when it comes to the intricacies "of" a plan, you do need some education in that area.
The sole reason these discussions are happening is because of supposed laymen in the new black media who’ve spurred a debate on issues that these policy “experts” avoid for fear of alienating white liberal allies. She worked for the Congressional Black Caucus, whose list of legislative accomplishments on behalf of the black agenda can be written on the palm of my hand.

No "discussion" is happening beyond the same mainstream media interview circuit affair that is easy to headlines and keep the clicks coming.
HB 40 has gained both institutional and academic support - and many of the experts who worked to develop the plan are working to ensure its promulgation.
How a gangster rapper pressing the establishment? :mjlol:

The democrats know Cube represents the voting block of black people they need.

Damn shame they won't even toss him a bone..

But this is actually a real solid move by Cube.. Its time to put serious pressure on the black caucus, to see who's actually for the people, or are they just taking up space getting a check..
He's not pressing the establishment. He's one of the most famous Black actors/rappers on the planet getting a minute amount of airtime because he's cosplaying as a "community organizer."

The people who have *actually* "pressing the establishment" are people like Drs. Sandy Darity and Darrick Hamilton.

whether intentional or by accident, cube's action is moving the discussion forward.

he needs some humility and to engage people who can really help make this productive. to be honest i don't trust he is being advised by someone who has his or our best interests in mind.

that condescending response is exactly why many are tired of establishment politicians...

I get the point that you're making but all she literally did was answer the question that he asked.

:deadmanny:

And don't take this as me endorsing her because I don't feel that she got the answers, Sway. But by that same token, neither does Cube.

:mjlol:

1. They need 10 millions working class people in the swing states first and foremost, not 3000-30000 #ados people scattered across the board on twitter.

2. Politics is not a simple computer game, there's a billion moving parts, back room deals, a million different legislations, budgets, favors from 20 years ago and on and on. People think it's an episode of jeopardy :snoop:

Thats fine..

If Cube isn't an issue, why everyone up in arms then about this "none factor"?

Humility and engagement goes both ways. All I see is a bunch of DNC bootlickers playing gatekeeper. Did he get played by GOP operatives? Yes. Unfortunately it took that to happen before Biden's team took him serious.
