I hate that this is going to devolve into a bunch of black folks fighting each other. Initially I was real pissed at Cube bc it seemed to me that he was willingly allowing himself to be used. Maybe there is a part of it that he was taken advantage of by some real slick politicos, but the thing that keeps bugging me a little bit is that he doesn't seem to be willing to concede the counter argument. That and his willingness to give trump the benefit of the doubt is kinda troubling.
At the same time, the response by the ivory tower types is not helpful at all. Esp since most of these people have ZERO connection to the poor/working class that continues to be decimated by both republicans and democrats. spouting off a bunch of degrees and shyt in this situation will do nothing but ensure that black folks whose intentions are pure, end up getting turned off to their ideas.

In my opinion, if you want to use the political system to get things done, you kind of have to play by their rules. Cube should hire lobbyists and let them handle all the speaking and meetings with congress people. For a regular Joe that can't afford a lobbyist, it's really not much you can do except organize a group, and blitz your congresspeople. You won't get anything passed without them.
