I mean most black people don't vote for republicans now. Do republicans change their policies to court them? No they either try to get them eliminated from the voting pool altogether with policies or ignore them. I don't see why people think the dems would be different. That's what the primaries are for. Support candidates in the primaries that you agree with and reach out to people close to you and convince them to support better candidates.

LITERALLY one of the non-answers I mentioned. We can't say how the alternative will turn out because we haven't tried. We have 60 years of history that says voting Dem solves NOTHING. Answer the quesion instead of deflecting with a strawman or concede.

Nobody should blindly vote for any party. That's a major issue. Vote for the best candidate not for what set you claim, but too many people vote for the dumbest reasons. Joe Biden is President because old Black people in the South voted for him in the primary thinking that Obama era feeling was gonna come back in a reduced capacity. They didn't want a gay dude in Buttigieg. The kids who dikkride Bernie Sanders online didn't vote, and everyone else didn't know what to make of Warren, so they voted for familiarity.

I'm from the bluest county in the country and usually here, it's 2 options: vote Democrat or don't vote at all. The issue with the low turnout here winds up being that both parties (yes, even the one that wins) lose incentive on doing anything for you because there's no vote to win and when you're reduced to crap candidates like we're gonna have for the third straight election, why bother?


The biggest issue has always been to treat the primaries like the real elections. Too many people act like it doesn't count, so you wind up with crap because you didn't participate. Look at NYC. We have a party promoter from Jersey as mayor because nobody gave a fukk about the primary when that was the real election. In that instance, the other party doesn't even matter.
