OK, let's hypothetically say that happened. That would be a major event and in the aftermath the Dems would be searching for answers. Should they ask Black people what can we do to get your support? Or call them a bunch Trump supporters?

Lol. That would be more than a major event, it would be cataclysmic. I don’t know that Democrats would have anything to offer, as they would likely be shut out of power for a generation, assuming we were still a democracy.

Lol. If it actually happened it would be the most massive red wave in recent memory. Solidly blue states would be in play. NY. CA. Obviously the Republican candidate would win the presidency with Regan in 84 numbers, but the house would probably have close to 400 Republicans. The only saving grace is that only 1/3 of the Senate would be in play, Republicans would get to 60, but maybe not 67. If it happened over two election cycles, Republicans would have numbers nationwide that would likely give them the ability to amend the Constitution.

Those ramifications are just made up bullshyt. Why didn’t that happen with Trump's first term then?
I'll take that as a no. And we know why, because saying that all the non voting Black people are Trump supporters to all who hypothetically didn't vote in your scenario would come off very dumb and counter productive in the public discourse.

If the black community sat out 2020 then the Supreme Court would have 2 liberal justices instead of 3 as Trump wouldn't have put Ketanji Brown Jackson on the court. That would be so lopsided there likely wouldn't be many chances to fix it in out lifetimes.

And if Clinton had won in 2016 Roe v Wade and Casey would still be the law of the land. Presidential elections have drastic consequences.
