TBH, Chris Tucker isn't worth $12 million.

If you look at his IMDB/Wikipedia, he's barely in any movies. I wager that he does this (barely acts in anything) so he can cling to the value/payscale that was set by Rush Hour, so he can keep saying he deserves ten million or twenty million eventhough he's not capable of making a blockbuster today in 2023. You look at Viola Davis though (only mentioning her because Chris & Viola just did AIR together)....she's been in like 50 movies and an asston of television shows.

He said he didn't want to make acting his life after he made a grip from the Rush Hour movies.

I agree that Cube and Epps were a better fit because they complimented each other. Chris Tucker outshone Ice Cube by a country mile and really showed up Ice Cube’s average acting.

I think I part of this is because in the first one, Craig was just a regular dude and Smokey was the crazy friend. In the other two, they made Craig into a tough guy and Deydey the safe one.

As a stand up comic Mike Epps is more funny in my opinion. Is he more funny in movies? not even close. And he certainly isn't a better actor or entertainer. But stand up he takes Chris easy.
