The primary consumer of rap music is white kids. The crime rate and drug usage dropped during the entire period that hip hop rose to prominence in the mid to late 90s and into the 2000s. I don’t post in here but anyone mentioning music as any of the top 20 reasons for anything negative happening in a community is uninformed or lazy at best and disingenuous at worst.
