It’s very clear that this is meant to stir a “both sides are wrong so don’t vote” response. It’s all bullshyt and disinformation to suppress votes. Ice Cube isn’t some idiot, he knows exactly what he’s doing.

You don’t bargain with blatant racists who have spent four years directly attacking black people, and who have spent the last year fukking up a pandemic response that has disproportionately killed black people. This isn’t 2016. We know who Trump is without a shadow of a doubt, there is no doubt or “just for fun” or “both are bad so what does it matter.” This man is an abject failure as president and also happens to be racist to the bone.

This is a matter of life and death, literally. I don’t want to hear a damn thing about “both sides” or “what is the other guy gonna do.” He’s not gonna bullshyt around and let 210,000 people die, a high percentage of which are black. That’s it. The end.
Yeah, this just seems like a dont vote grift and ultimately if you pay attention he tries to keep the narrative/conversation on that alone as this went viral. Thats why he was so lost with Roland's question. His grift was for democrats and democrats alone, oos

Given the Bannon connection im sure dude isnt a trump supporter but more likely a useful idiot in a bannon ratfukking scheme. Trumps own unpredictability is just what exposed it

I doubt Cube & whoever got the battery in his back had anticipated the Trump campaign name dropping him and blowing up ths spot.

Entertainers really aren't built to swim with these kinda sharks

Cube is not backing the Platinum plan tho. He is pushing his contract with Black America.

See what you tried to do there shill. And meathead RolanDNC (the DNC is silent) thinks hes slick

These shills are acting like Cube endorsed the platinum plan and then endorsed Trump. They are being dishonest and attempting to deceive you
He let himself get played. No sympathy for 51 year old rich dude who can't move properly.

Uh, no and that's the second time that dumb/stupid is being used in a discussion about things that can be measured.

It's trendy to say that no progress has been made since the CRM, but it's not accurate. People can believe that the process hasn't been rapid enough, but they cannot say that progress hasn't been made.

How many here are first generation college graduates in your families? The Stats suggest that many here would be ,as the % of college graduates have gone from under 10% in the 60s to over 22% now.
How many here run a business? Again, the stats suggest that many here do, as the number and % of Black business owners has increased I will try to find the actual stats.
I also believe that the % of homeownership has increased since 60s, and will look for that stat.

Disingenuous to say that progress hasn't been made in the past 50 years.

You saw all the data already in my post. Quit lying. Home ownership has not increased. We have more degrees and nothing to show for it but more. There is something wrong with that picture. The wealth gap between black and whites is worse now than in the 60's. This is an undisputable fact. No meaningful progress towards closing the wealth gap has been made since the 60s. That is just the plain truth of the matter.

Cause its true. Blacks made 60% of what whites made in the 60's and we still make 60% of what whites make now. Black unemployment was double whites back then and still is now. More black folks are actually locked up now than in the 60s. So what world are you living in? The status quo for America has always been black folks at the bottom of the economic ladder.

Today's racial wealth gap is wider than in the 1960s

Y'all get clips and take them out of context. He never endorsed or met Trump, never met the lady that put the tweet out, and didn't have anything to do with the Platinum Plan. Again, he spoke with both parties and wanted to see if they could make some things happen for black people. And for that, he's a Trumper? Y'all can't be that stupid.
he said he ain't even meet anyone of importance with Trump but he let them say he met with Trump.

Who's lying?

Y’all missing the big picture in your rush to tear down a black man.

why is it that ICE CUBE a rapper has to be the one to speak up and try and negotiate with presidential candidates to get an agenda specifically for black people?

why isn’t any of the black media heads, black politicians, black professors, black billionaires doing this? Why is Ice Cube the one to lead the charge? That ain’t insane to you?

he’s a rapper not an economist. Of course he’s gonna sound stupid. But y’all in here giggling getting led to a slaughter. Biden gonna prioritize immigrants, lgbt, Latinos and Asians over us and then we will see what’s funny.

I’m in the top 1% of black households I’m gonna be good. I’m fighting for my kids and y’all negroes.
why can't ice cube let actual academics handle this?

He's not leading anything. he's leading confusion and got exposed.

I think you are confusing black people doing better as a race versus black people doing better compared to white people.

Everyone should be at equal footing racial, but the question is are we better than we were in 1960s due to changes in policy and the answer is yes.

Who blew this whole thing up and made it viral? Trumps side or shea butter/ blue check twitter? Nobody was talking about the platinum plan or Ice cube. Cube didnt post this. Some unknown chick on trumps team made a tweet and yall ran with it. If you think Cubes ideology is dangerous and helps trump then why are yall doing trumps work for him and spreading the message all over? Their rush and eagerness to tear down another another black man superceded their common sense.. but yall supposed be so smart.

The clip is out of context cause Cube clearly stated he had nothing to do with the platinum plan so why would he know whats in it? He simply presented his own contract and plan to both parties and spoke to them about his ideas. Somehow that became cube met with trump and drafted the platinum plan. Cube didnt say that. shea butter blue check twitter did.

The gains fought for by the Civil Rights Movement legally tackled discrimination and opened up opportunities for EVERYBODY who wasn't a white protestant man.
Included among the groups that benefited from CRM struggles are white women. They've entered college and the workforce in increasing numbers since then. With economic options now more open to their women in the past 50 years, with white marriage rates being higher, and with a 350 year head start , how can you look at the disparity in the household wealth gap between the races as an indicator that progress isn't being made?

What does that even mean? Technically we make more now due to inflation? Doesn't mean we are better off. Just means a dollar doesn't go as far as it did in the 60s'. You have to measure relative to how other populations are doing and our place in society. Compared to ALL people in this country blacks have been at the bottom of economic ladder since the 60s and that hasn't changed.
