:comeon: Find me a better verse than the aforementioned verses

You can disagree but if you say it's absurd you are flat out underrating Prodigy :comeon:

Saying Prodigy is a better lyricist is an opinion that I don't think is crazy but saying that he's FLAT out better than Cube is extremely wrong. That's like saying it's no contest, when I think Cube is better in that department. Not by much, but better with way better content. You must not be very familiar with Cube's work

And Cube's verse on "A Bird In A Hand" >>>>>>> Any Prodigy verse imo.

In real life I hardly ever hear Cube mentioned as an MC. While I always hear about Infamous and Hell On Earth all the time. Hear about the N.W.A shyt sometimes of course, but overall hear about Mobb Deep much more. Listening to Infamous now and it's more captivating than any Cube project to me, prefer Havoc to Cube too. But Cube is probably a bigger icon/legend. But musically I think P has been a better MC overall.

That's because of how much he's done after rap. His prime in rap was over 20 years ago and since then he's been a big figure in Hollywood. So of course he's not mentioned as a rapper that often. Cube is responsible for over 4 classics and the GOAT rap album. Prodigy is a dope MC but he's not Cube.

True & this goes hand in hand with his image as a rapper not as an emcee. Lyrics, flow, delivery are P & it's not even close. You can play P's music/verses from the mid 90's & they still sound modern. I can't say the same for Cube.

My dude, on WHAT planet? Lmao.

Earth lol. I'm around Hip Hop all the time. I don't hear about Death Certificate. Just a quick random thing, checked the view count on youtube for the most view counted songs from the albums, Shook 1's part 2 has 5 million views around, Cube's is How To Survive In South Central and has around half a million to 600 thousand views.

Bro, using Youtube as your source is pretty insane. One album sold 1.1 Million copies in a year, with only one real single, the other song was really for CB4. And the other one barely went Gold after being out 19 years. This is no comparison in terms on which album was more popular.

That's what I'm saying, to be honest I think cause Cube is a bigger star people pick him sometimes. As an MC? Prodigy sounds better to me. I had to think cause Cube has classic joints, fukk Tha Police is one of the greatest Hip Hop records to me, Cube is a legend unquestionable. But I also think he fell off. I prefer Prodigy's run AND think Prodigy came back stronger. I listen to Prodigy A LOT more. Infamous and Hell On Earth, and a few others too, shyt is epic, the moods, and for real, I'm playing the joints now and sound fresh and ill as fukk. I can play the best of N.W.A Cube and it sounds ill, and some other work too, but I feel Mobb's albums more. The beats I feel were better, songs were just grimey, they made some of the best street grimey hood music. And P was a good lyricist and had a dope flow.

Why is it pretty insane? Nearly everyone got a computer nowadays, nowadays people fukk with Mobb Deep more in my opinion. I'm not talking about when Cube came out, Cube was huge in his day, of course. But I'm talking overall now. Lots of people were huge back in the day, Hammer, Vanilla Ice (not comparing Cube to them by the way) but it's about overall. And overall I think more people like Mobb Deep, certainly in my experience, I rarely ever hear about Cube bar N.W.A in real life, and of course acting. A lot of people know of him as just an actor now lol. It doesn't matter anyway, as it doesn't matter what the majority think, but I don't think it's crazy at all for someone to feel P is better, in real life if I asked the Hip Hop heads I know I reckon it would be something like 70 percent to P.

I still hear about Will Smith as a rapper though. But anyway that was my point really, a lot of people would pick P. If you feel Cube then it's cool, it's understandable, but I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that it's automatically Cube. Infamous and Hell On Earth are VERY highly rated albums. I know personally I bump them a lot more than any Cube project, even the N.W.A shyt.
