So whats the plan if trump wins? There is a good chance he just might. Every other group plays both sides. The president is the president. Make your demands to whoever is in office. Some of yall think black folks should sit on the sidelines and watch the world pass us by for 4 years if trump wins again. You work with what you got and something is better than nothing.
Why would Trump acquiesce to any demands at all when it's his 2nd term in office? This is his last election. He has absolutely zero reason to listen to Black people's demands. Not to mention, of course, that his racist white supporters who don't want to see Black folk get a come-up FAR outnumber any Black support he will ever get.
Trump signed the first step act which was a good piece of legislation even though it was started under Obama with van Jones. Van Jones didn't wait 4 years or until after the election.. he had to work with trump to get it done and many black folks were helped by it.
The version of the First Step Act that Trump signed was a watered-down weak version of what the Dems had been trying to pass since 2015 and the Republicans kept blocking. Trump signed it cause Kuschner told him he could use it to take Black support, but he later said he regretted it and ain't gonna listen to Kuschner anymore cause black folk still don't fukk with him.
And it was supposed to be the FIRST step act, but do you see him talking about the next step at all?
Whether trump follows through or not with cubes plan is another issue but simply getting them to have some plan hurts nobody. Not sure what the issue is.
Because it's a fukked-up ploy to win an election for White Supremacy. This is a man who RIGHT NOW is screaming Blue Lives Matter, sending federal troops out against Black protesters on the streets, trying to get Affirmative Action overturned, fukking up Black voting rights, telling White folk that they won't have to worry about any more integration under his presidency, dismantling every civil rights enforcing group in the federal government, and constantly giving passes to White Supremacists while shytting on every Black man he can. You think he ain't gonna just do more of that in his second term?
