OMAHA, Neb. — Every seat in the waiting area of Glenn Valley Foods was occupied with people filling out job applications early Thursday afternoon, two days after the meatpacking plant became the center of the largest worksite immigration raid in the state of Nebraska so far this year.
Dozens of prospective employees, many of them Spanish speakers, had been coming in and out of the plant all day. Some were hoping to land a new job; others were coming in for training.

In America, "white" is more political and skin color doesn't mean everything. Being Catholic by itself puts you on shaky footing. Plus, most white Americans are fully European or close. That's all they are. Latinos can be hella white but be like 85% Spanish or 90% Spanish. Outside of the South, ain't no whites clocking under 98% European by blood. White Latinos might as well be mixed.

So basically the same workers were sneaking back in to apply for the same jobs that they were just run off the block from. So instead of Ramon Garcia applying for the job it will be Nomar Aicrag applying for the job. But by all means don't go after the employers hiring the illegals.

I took it to mean the illegals found during the raid are in custody now. And these are completely new people applying for jobs. Except now you have actual citizens applying for those jobs too.

Jesús González, a 33-year-old Mexican immigrant, lost his left arm after being struck by a train while fleeing a raid by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in La Mirada, California. The incident occurred on June 11 as González was returning home from his welding job.
From his hospital bed, González explained that upon noticing the presence of immigration agents, he attempted to avoid them by taking an alternate route. Can confirm, as @ByJackHarris reported, that ICE agents attempted to access Dodger Stadium this morning but were denied by the Dodgers.
Images had circulated this morning of agents appearing to use the parking lots as a staging area.
This photo was taken outside of the chainlink fence on an access road - it is not inside the stadium or the team's parking lots.

ICE says they weren’t there. DHS says CBP vehicles were there briefly, unrelated to any operation or enforcement. They can’t even coordinate their lies and obviously this was staging for ICE operations, regardless of which specific agency vehicles were involved.

│ │ │ │ Part of this is playing the algorithm: if the same keywords are suddenly attached to a different news story, and especially if it's put out to the White House Press Corps, it's going to bury older news or at least boost the noise vs signal. There's numerous times I'll read about a scandal here, and within 48 hours the White House has brought up some nonsense that doesn't apply but happens to trigger the same keywords. There's a whole Muddying The Waters taskforce constantly making it hard to search for the actuality of their present scams while simultaneously making those crimes look normal and everyday.

│ │ │ │ │ It's the " firehose of falsehood." You spew a constant stream of lies and then people can't discern the difference between truth and fiction. If there is no truth then anything can be true. And then your leader can tell you what is true and you just believe him.
