ICE's own data shows their claim of targeting the "worst of the worst" is false.
- 83.6% of people detained by ICE in FY25 were classified as "no ICE threat level."
- 4.9% were classified as low threat
- 3.9% were classified as medium threat
- 7.6% were classified as high threat

DHS FACT CHECK: 75% of illegal aliens arrested by ICE have criminal convictions or pending charges.

Always happy to answer data questions! The above is data about people who were sent to ICE detention centers.
It does not reflect total arrests, as some people who are arrested are immediately released on bond or recognizance without ever being sent to a detention center.

Not to be a “

” kind of guy, but is there a distinction between arrests and detainments in these numbers?

@davidgaw
What percentage of people detained by ICE were subject to lawful deportation?

@TheAndersPaul
Over 2500 high threat people. Good catch. That is a lot.

Also, there’s much less resistance to detention than you’d expect if they truly were catching the “worst of the worst” (a group that often doesn’t go down without a fight).
Looks like a lot more hairdressers, construction workers, nannies, etc. are being detained than hardened criminals, from what I’m seeing

Do You think that some "ICE raids" are being conducted by people masquerading as ICE Agents, such as Proud Boys, Oath Keepers & Pardoned J6 Insurrectionists, and that nobody is holding them accountable

Targeting means targeting.
- Doesn't mean everybody else they find isn't going.

This is more representative of what we are seeing.
Not that gnome’s claim of 75% criminals.
