So, F-ck him for keeping his word? :what:
Ya'll got me confused. You're both right. But Bernie really should think about running a 3rd party. If he breaks his word though, he'd likely be classified, by the media rightfully, as another phony egotistical politician. It's too late for a 3rd party with Sanders hemming it.

I was under the impression he originally started 100% self-funded and is now around 70-75% self funded, which is probably still highest amongst all Dem/GOP candidates. Am I wrong? Do you have a source explaining it?

Thanks in advance

Trump self-funds and accepts donations from individuals on his website. No super-PAC though or corporate whoring.

Same as Bernie except Trump is obviously self-funding a lot more then Bernie.

"By the end of 2015, Trump's campaign had raised $19.4 million, with almost $13 million (about 66%) coming from Trump himself and the remainder (34%) coming from others' contributions."

Q1 2016 numbers aren't due yet.

The more the merrier bro. I would like to see a truly fractured electorate besides the old GOP vs DEM shyt, regardless who wins. I think it will serve as an example to Americans that we CAN have more than 2 viable alternatives. Having independent and third party candidates that have name recognition, grassroots movements and ability to gain traction is what we need.
Not going to get it this cycle. Have to already have a nominee prepped that doesn't make stupid promises on party unity. She/he also has to perform like Sanders is doing now. He would've been the perfect candidate to split the party, and blamed DNC shenanigans for it. Gotta find out if the FEC investigation was politically motivated.

I say if any evidence of the DNC or Feds fukking with this election is found, Bernie uses that to break his word, as it wasn't taken in good faith and go for it. The 3rd party needs to start soon, but it has to be under ideal circumstances or a very big groundswell of discontent.

Agreed and I still wonder why the Vice Chair of the DNC stepped down. Something is fishy with all this.

Writer for greenwald's rag I follow on Twitter thinks it has something to do with south Asian donor base. Basically sanders is popular with south Asians for some reason and the DNC vice chair(who I had never heard of before today) views that demographic as crucial to her personal prospects.

Idk how accurate that is tho

Rep. Gabbard and Debbie Wasserman Schlitz absolutely loathe one another which is the real reason why she stepped down.
Also Tulsi is far less ideologically in lockstep with Bernie than her resigning statement and endorsement would have you believe since she has been a Fox News darling for the past couple years due to her penchant to criticize Obama for not being tough enough on ISIS and Syria.

She's also criticized Republicans like McCain and Graham... as well as Hilary and other neocons for the Libyan fiasco

And she's in favor of the visa waiver bill :snoop:
