That's why I don't play them, that's what I hate about EA, people are so stupid that they let BS business practices pick up steam, they let this shyt work. and what do we get in return, more BS nickel and diming tactics dress up in "AAA" titles.. aight, finally looked at the vid and this guy is full of shyt lol....he sounds just like the cats on here (around the net) that are always asking 'why are people still playing destiny?' and saying whatever bullshyt reason that helps them sleep at night and help them think they still a cool kid for not playing....seriously, the vid was like he was reading from a manual: the 'they stealing our money making us pay for content that should be ours' talk; get scientific and compare it to gambling and the joy you get from the random payout/loot system; and to top it off go with insults....seriously, he compared gamers who play destiny to some fukking pigeons lol....now, the people that dont play nor like the game, are gonna only pay attention to those parts of the vid like it's gospel....well, hate to rain on your parade, but for every reason he brought up, he shot down on his own...ex: they stealing our money, but there aren't sub nor micro-transaction fees; so they not really stealing it/nickel diming us....
look: it's not that hard to understand why people play the game...it's very simple....the game is just fun (which he even said in the vid)...there's nothing mind tricking, trying to get your money's worth, none of that...to some, the game is just fun, so they keep playing...if it wasn't, they wouldn't...just like the ones that have tried it, didn't like it, and no longer play it...that's it....
as for the dlc shyt: destiny not the first game to pull shyt from the disc to sell as dlc, and they wont be the last...so stop with the 'what's gonna happen to gaming/sky is falling' bullshyt....I know people dont like hearing the solution, but it's true: if you dont like it, dont buy it...the only thing these companies listen to is the bottom line...if people didn't pay for dlc, they'd stop doing the shyt....

I see what you are saying but lets not act like me not buying a game effects business enough for it to matter.. It would take a large number of people to vocally voice their dislike for this type of stuff for it to make a difference.. Thats like saying the companies even know I didnt buy their game and why.. This guy is explaining what they did and how they got away with it. I shouldn't have to spend 120 just to get the same amount of content as GTA, Fallout, Skyrim..etc..which is only 60 and comes packed with so much more content.
I wanted to get this game but I refuse to buy a game that lacks a good campaign, a game that is only good for multiplayer is like a movie you can only watch in 3-D or having a bunch of action and no dialog then they turn around and say to get a 2-d version you have to pay $10 and to increase the dialog you have to pay more.. Like that type of shyt should be standard, and not optional. I don't have nothing against DLC when its done how skyrim does it, where it actually extends or add's to an already satisfying experience

and what's with the 'it should have as much content as (insert a game)'?...that's another bs reason to try to explain why you dont like the game...cause all games dont have the same amount of content and no one expects them to....
you dont wanna pay for the game, that's cool...others did, which is cool too...but for whatever reason(s), the ones that dont play the game dont wanna accept others do....to them it's some mystery that needs solving when it's not that serious nor complicated....just cause you dont like the game nor wanna play it, doesnt mean everyone else has to think the same way.....
side note: if you still tempted to get into the game, just wait till the taken king drops in sept....you can get the base game and all the expansions (the first 2 and the new one) for $60, which is a hell of a steal....

This system doesn't fail. It's been proven to work time and time again just on a smaller scale with smaller brands. That's why Bungie was willing to front 500mill and a 10 year plan to a brand new IP. You only make that kind of bet when you know you can't lose.
I think youre a good poster but I cringed when I read this post. The video wasn't meant to shyt in the game or say it was bad. Everything is rooted in basic psychology, which is the point of the pigeons and the slot machines. You didn't do anything to actually address what he was saying other than argue that activist on isn't nickel and diming you...
