I smell Kraft dinner and Celery Sticks..is that old CaC Spice ?.

There's a difference between having no personality and being focused when you're on the court. Various intws say that Duncan has great personality in private, he just keeps it low-key on the court. All the other Spurs have personality, wouldn't be surprised Kawhi's the same. And anyway, I'd rather someone keep it low-key than try to fake having some other kind of personality

And in the same vein, not every athlete, just because he's an entertainer, is obligated to be some loudmouth, look at me, carnival barker.
Never understood why people have these checklists for athletes, actors, etc that need to check out in either direction. If dude is loud & outspoken, that's who he'll be, and just gravitate to him if that's what you want. If he's the quiet type, that's who he'll be and neither should change just because dumb ass fans feel "that's how it should be" or "this is how I like my athletes."

Case in point is TO. It's so easy to tell he's not some brash loudmouth by nature. He played that role, did it well enough to gain what he had to from it, but boy, I've never seen a more corny, forced, and awkward diva act as the one he put on. The uncomfortableness definitely oozed through the TV screen many times he had the spotlight. Just to be the guy he thought the fans wanted him to be
