It's not even about one more hot rapper anymore, Atlanta is established as the premier destination for hip hop & entertainment. Your favorite rapper got a house here. They prolly go to a studio off of Northside Dr (for outta towners, there's a lot of great studios off of Northside Dr). You can find any style of hip hop music b/c EVERYBODY lives here & everybody is trying to get it. Its competition, butnIt's all love though. If you think ATL is just trap/snap music, you either are ignorant or aren't paying attention.
And we just really getting started. Much respect to NYC & LA for their contributions to the genre, but we on top now

I was referring to the fact that Atlanta has been the black entertainment capital since the early '90s, genius. people have been packing up and relocating to Atlanta in order to get into the industry for well over 2 decades now. its nothing new. yall in here acting like its the product of the so-called dominant run of Atlanta rap.

I wasn't referring to any of those rappers, but yea, they could get it too. TI always been half-tacky. killer mike always been meh. outkast has been washed up for well over a decade now. I aint got nothing bad to say about jeezy honestly.
at the Hate my City is still getting. 10 years from now we'll still be on top

People forget that ATL had Laface Records and Arista Records in the 90's which allowed a constant stream of talent to be exposed to the masses.
Thats the real reason why ATL was able to get on top and still be on top. They already had the infrastructure for music to thrive.

people are so jaded nowadays that they see everything as A & B, when its really not that simple. and that's why a lot of bullchit is allowed to fly these days.

Alot are from here tho. My parents moved here in that first wave in the early 80's....Moms from West Philly and Pops from the Chi by way of Compton. They met in college at the AUC,
had me and stayed here. That story is repeated over and.over in the A. People move here and.make it they home. That is what Atlanta is- its a mix of everything else and it is.a.beautiful thing.
Atlanta is a very young city.compared to most.of the places y'all.cats.is.from so we just now getting to that stage where we are coming of ago and it ain't no where but up from here. Atlanta a hustling city anyway...at the end of the day nobody.cares where you.from. That's.what broke nikkas do.is.worry about ship like that. Where a nikkas.from ain't putting no money in my pocket.
