IF being Gay is Genetic

I'm inclined to believe that it is genetics... Or maybe it's they way a kid was raised that determines their sexuality.

I'm a straight dude, I don't ever remember choosing to be attracted to females. Before puberty all I cared about was toys, TV, and video games, then puberty hits and next thing I know want to bang broads. I don't get it.

So to get rid of confusion, instead of linking to genetics, you can say that developmental issues before birth, or in critical stages of both brain development or nervous system development CAN in some cases lead to homosexuality, like any other number of mental and physical illness. I don't get why people find this so hard to grasp.

I got a good grasp on what I was like between 7 and 12, I remember sexual attraction was irrelevant to me until the age of 12.

I don't think it's silly but I'm not claiming to really know how it works. For all I know my heterosexuality was probably already laid out and stayed dormant until I started noticing when I turned 12.

Functional abnormality at birth that caused a mental defect is what it is much of the time.

Sometimes it's due to 'not fitting in' or a dramatic (sometimes repressed) event.

im not sure if its genetic or what, but they are definitely born that way. my cousin has been extremely feminine since we were babies. my mom and his mom were pregnant at the same time, he was born a week before me.

i swear to god i am not lying, there is a picture of me and him at less than a year old. he is grabbing me to plant a kiss, and i am pushing him away.

when he was 5 he said some guy had a cute butt and we all heard him. ever since then, he's been the gay kid in the family. as a kid i was mean to him but as a man i respect him cause he is a great, humble, kind hearted individual, despite his preferences.

but yea i think its definitely something they are born with. like @Ctdash said, i dont remember choosing females. and im sure my cousin doesnt remember saying "goo goo gaga i like boys"

Lol I was arguing this case with a fool in TRL and he said the greatest tragedy in science is the fact that "existent gay gene" has not been proven.



There is no such thing as a gay gene. It will never be found by science because it doesn't exist. Some people want an excuse to perverse the course of nature
