But I hate the "this guys in so this guy should be in too".....creates a very watered down Hall. Don't compound supposed mistakes with more mistakes.

well said. I'd argue that longevity has its merits but otherwise spot-on

Dillon deserves to be in the Hall. But playing for the sorry Bengals for all those years will hurt him. And while I think Edge deserves it too then you gotta start talking about cats like Fred Taylor and Warrick Dunn too then as potential Hall of Famers cause they all had comparable careers.
