Good thread I use to hate meek voice till I realize he actually wasn't yelling it's his energy .


Anyway joe burden voice is awful to me I can't get through any of his music .

Lil boosie voice I got use to but it took a long time !!!


Don q does have a nice rap voice .

Lil Kim has a nice rap voice as well love her vocal inflections especially when she gets into her lower registry .

Think Ross might be my fav

He sounded like someone's 14 yr old brother who snuck into tha studio

Voice hi pitched with that NY nasal tone...he sounded like a lil kid.

I love his material in spite of his voice tho

MC Ren had a great voice, early Cube, Snoop, Scarface, Big, Meth, Juvenile, Trick Daddy, Common, Chuck D when he wasnt too bombastic

Clarity, good bass tone are key.

I agree.

Like for instance, RBX got 1 of the best voices in Hip Hop to me, but I could also see someone saying, "Naw, bruh".

Some of my other favorite voices in Hip Hop: Fatlip, Method Man, Biggie, Warcloud (before he started just rambling on records), and a few others I'm forgetting.

I used to think Meek, Freeway, and Predi had bad voices til I got used to them..

I can't think of any great voices...I guess Biggie's is the most iconic one

Ghost Face too, as much as I love his raps. His voice is thin and whiney sometimes. He that passioante and emotional in raps.

I also hated Gucci Mane's rap voice and used to find it annoying.
