His cadence is actually really good. I think you dont like it bc his voice is unembellished...there's no swag or flair like Rocky has. Its just pure hard Midwest street. I like his voice a lot bc of its gravity...its heavy like Scarface's.

You HAVE to have some kinda flair imo. Scarface has flair. Rappers must have aggression and flair; no two ways about it. Some rappers are more aggressive than others, some have more flair than others. But you gotta have both or to me, you can't rap.

and this is why Rocky's on a whole other level than rappers in his generation. He manages to be the most aggressive and stylish rapper all at the same time.

Gibbs doesnt just do street shyt tho. He's pretty versatile and raps over all type of production. He has some style too on certain projects.

Voice is a plus but its not end all be all unless you have a totally annoying or irritating voice like Em. Jay has a pretty whatever voice but i still rocc with him

Pretty Flacko has to be one of the most aggressive rap songs of this new generation. Aggressive in the sense that the beat goes stupid hard and Flacko's got an energetic, commanding voice.

Scarface absolutely has flair/finesse to his rap. This is just inarguable, breh. I'm not saying he's got it in spades, but it's definitely there.

Insane, isn't it? I never even thought about voice like that till all these garbage ass rappers started flooding the game. In the 80s and 90s, there wasn't a single popular rapper with a terrible voice.

Em low-key started that "voice of suburb teen angst" bullshyt that took a strangehold on the game till this very day. But even on Slim Shady LP, he wasn't too bad.

i agree with this. When Budden first came on the scene, his voice was decent. "Pump It Up", and to this day, my favorite record of his "Focus."

But over time, Budden's voice sounded like shyt.
