Despite that goofy ass Rock promo his stans swear ethered him, Billy Gunn's career was good, he did about as well as he could have. He got other pushes after this and didn't get over on the main event level either, fans just didn't see him like that. He was an over midcarder in WWE for 5 or 6 years, that's a good run in the business.

He was effective on the mic because he only had to yell "Suck it".
