As for the message behind the event,Abrams for Governor campaign press secretary Jaylen Black said Black men are an important component of her candidate’s vision for “one Georgia.”

“Stacey values creating space for Black men to express their unique concerns and sharing her comprehensive plans that will ensure that Black men in Georgia have the opportunity to thrive,” Black said.

Listen fellas, feeling unlistened to is absolutely fair but you gotta also respect the political game in 2022.

1. We're outnumbered (Stacy has pointed this out, we all know it) so politicians naturally cater directly to us less.

2. More importantly - there are many that will vote against a politician that DOES cater to us directly. You know it, I know it. Cacs get mad, other races get mad, they hate us and always have hated us. Combine that with us being outnumbered and a politician that wants to serve us is better off moving smartly and silently with it.

3. Republicacs blame us for all the social ills in America, promote their own (white) supremacy, and push forth unsustainable policies/practices that make society overall worse. Look at red states vs blue states. I need y'all to remember what happened to a certain population in Germany several decades ago that had this unique mixture of delusional supremacy and blaming minorities for problems going on.

4. A policy does not have to literally list "black men" to benefit us. Policies that tackle low incomes, policies that tackle the school-to-prison pipeline, gun violence, voting rights and access (which republicans are fighting against and Stacy Abrams is particularly noteworthy for fighting for) etc. are beneficial to us and beneficial to everyone.

5. Republicacs regularly invade online spaces like this to push voter apathy in black men to dissuade our voting for our best interests. Even if you somehow think TheColi is immune to this - think, why exactly do they go through the effort? The don't want us voting for people like Stacy.

Even if you think she hasn't done enough, she's actively clearing the path for you to vote for someone better. Kemp and republicans would you rather you not be able to vote at all, and repeatedly gerrymander and cheat to try to ensure it.

Like, real talk... it doesn't make sense not to vote for Stacy. If we take our rights for granted in the face of the white supremacist cacs, those rights will soon stop being granted.

100% percent of black men and women need to vote for her in GA. There’s literally zero reason why this shouldn’t happen :yeshrug:

I don't think people fully grasp how brazenly her last election was stolen.

It doesn't get talked about enough because crying election fraud when you lose is a GQP strategy but truly everything they swear the Dems do, Kemp 100% did. There's a reason why Georgia has become so gung-ho about voter suppression and redistricting.

I don’t think what she said was necessarily wrong. Someone’s voting for Kemp and it’s not just white folks .. unless cheating. I agree with the rest of what you said though.
Do you know Georgia Demographics? Black people are 33% of the population, White people are 59%, Hispanic 10.4%, and Asian people 4.6%. Kemp does not need one Black vote to win. So her attempting to place this burden and future blame on Black men in that state is really some BS. Every Black man and Black woman can vote for her, and she can still lose.

Are you trolling or do you really think you’re making a good point :what:

The problem is "white supremacy" has just become a cute phrase used to win arguments.

Im trying to figure out why you bought up black people not having visas. Like we should just stop trying to leave the country now. If we put the same energy into leaving white supremacy. As we put into protesting, begging for reperations, defending our political affiliations, and keeping up with the Kardashians. Im sure we can gather some visas before you vote your way out of white supremacy:mjlol:

If you can just vote your way out of white supremacy,we need to retire the phrase all together. But some of us actually believe white supremacy is as bad as we say it is.

Wins the election: thank you for all my supporters for coming out and voting for the right candidate. Black Girl Power for sure

Lose the election: We didn’t get enough voter turnout especially among our black men voters who was eligible and then you’ll hear the Vivica Fox, Lisa Rayes, and other black men haters come out and blame black men

She needs to offer black men something tangible for their vote. The era of “vote because they is black” is over my friend
Exactly what in the fukk is "something tangible"? :what: y'all say this vague ass term and never get down to what it actually means. It's lazy and dangerous rhetoric for the people affected.

Do you live in Georgia? If so why not engage her provide context on these "tangibles" needed for Black male voters? No one is a mind reader.
