So how would you explain this correlation between cities with egregious murder rates and high % of charter schools:jbhmm: Look at that, 4 out of the top 5 cities in murder rate are in states with a top 5 Charter School city in it.

Are Charter Schools part of "street culture":jbhmm:

Could it be possible that all of that money you allege was going to inner city schools was actually being wasted in ineffective Charter Schools thanks to people like the new Secretary of Education:jbhmm:

Or parents started turning to charters because the public schools started turning into hell holes

But that poster just said all that money was going to schools in inner cities:mjgrin:

You ready to concede that public schools got none of that money:mjgrin:
TBH money isnt the problem in some of those schools. Its parents not being involved in their kids education.

But Charter Schools give parents this highest degree of choice and involvement possible in education:mjgrin:

How come they end up in high murder rates?

Me:It's hard for parents too be actively involved when they gotta work two - three jobs to keep the lights on and food on the table...

Uncle Hotep: well they shouldn't have had kids out of wedlock or before they could have afforded to take care of them

Me: cool story bro, but the kids already here, how do we address shyt going forward.

Uncle Hotep: just watch trump will make America great again he knows how

Me: I see by cutting funds from nonprofits, decreasing benefits, breaking up unions, and making it harder to afford medicine....

Do you realize that many kids make it out of fukked up school systems? Do you realize Black kids in the inner cities have it much much better than kids in South America & many other places in the world? Do you realize that millions yearly are given to the inner city school systems? Ask the big fat bureaucrats where that money is going

Throwing money at a problem like this is just not the answer

C'mon man .....Black kids in inner city have it far better than kids in Ecuador who don't even have a classroom

Do you realize that many kids make it out of fukked up school systems?

So that means we should continue to let it be bad?:jbhmm:

Do you realize Black kids in the inner cities have it much much better than kids in South America & many other places in the world?

So we're holding ourselves to the standard of undeveloped nations?:jbhmm:

Do you realize that millions yearly are given to the inner city school systems?

I just debunked this and showed that this money is going to Charter Schools in areas of concern:mjgrin:

Ask the big fat bureaucrats where that money is going

See above:mjgrin:

A horrible curriculum designed to only boost or prop standardized testing scores doesn't benefit the student regardless of parental involvement. So yes, money (funding) is absolutely the issue...it's the major issue. Without it schools lack qualified teachers and professionals and necessary tools needed to effectively educate.

Way too many to name cmon now

u guys are coming w every excuse in the book and its not cutting it

Can't always play the victim card....nothing in 2017 stopping most from reaching their goals
Your thinly veiled "pulled yourself up by your bootstraps" rhetoric isn't cutting it either.

If there are too many to name, give me 3.
