If Drake was really as popular as he perpetuated to be … Why was there no public outcry or voice of support?

Cause people mind their business
You’d think so, ideally … but realistically we live in a world where the worst of human nature has been granted access to a comment section

employee tries to kick someone out, meets resistance - lawsuit ensues

does he even own that brand or is that a division of Universal merchandising, like TrukFit?

Imagine talking about paying for fukking french fries as being a dominant issue. The complaints in this era are weak as fukk. :mjlol:

When I was growing up, we never got fries cause we couldn't afford them and they were like $1 or $2 back then. Somehow we managed to make it into adulthood anyway. If you can't afford fries, then DON'T BUY FRIES and move on with your life.
fair points but as an economic barometer … a product made from potatoes deep fried in the cheapest oil possible …. shouldn’t cost much more

Like you said…. Worst of human nature… which is why you’ll never find me in comment section takin up for some man I don’t even know.

These are musicians, they make music for us to enjoy. We don’t know them as people and they don’t care about any of us as individuals, enjoy the music you enjoy for what it is.

Personally I enjoyed this back and forth because we got good music from both sides. Anybody who takes it beyond that has lost the plot.

Drake's public rallying seemed weak compared to Kendrick's. Drake's global fanbase is huge but most of them weren't engaged.

This is where Drake fukked up in his rollout. Premiering the first track "Push Ups" with DJ Whoo Kid and DJ Akademiks was innovative and smart, but after that Akademiks was diminishing returns. What he should have done is premiere each track with a different radio station. He could have premiered "Family Matters" with a Toronto radio station and premiered "The Heart Part-6" with an NYC or LA radio station. That would, at least, have had all of Toronto tuning in, becoming engaged and rallying around him.
He could have called in too talking shyt. Just like how it used to be back in the day.

His city would have had the WHOLE WORLD tuning in…hell that’s what HIS RADIO station is for with Sirius.

:snoop: this man really didn’t think this shyt through..

I feel nikkas prolly never really liked him, its a fake industry everyone just using each other.

Kendrick included.

If you felt he was a fraud canadian rapper from the suburbs why you hop on that nikka album and tour when you was on the come up?

Same goes for Ross, French, Future, Meek, Metro etc.

Notice how everyone Drake beefed with he has helped in some way shape or form at some point in time :francis:

No friends in the industry :manny:
They helped him just as much if not more. Without the co sign from those artists he woulda been viewed like logic. All of those number 1 hits he "put in their hands" did more for his own brand than theirs. He leeched all of their styles and sounds to get his credibility up. He's not a colleague. He's a fukkin colonizer.

There's a difference between fans of the music and industry support. He has a shyt ton of fans, that's undeniable. Industry wide a lot of people hate this dude and can't stand him, from rappers to execs and you can guess why.

End of the day most people just want to be entertained and Kendrick provided more entertainment than Drake. If the tables were turned and Drake cracked off a hit song clowning Kendrick we'd be having the opposite convo, wondering what happened to Kendrick's fans.
This is definitely disingenuous. Everybody was gassing those garbage ass disses 6-16 in LA and Meet the Grahams. People took everything said on those tracks as gospel. Kendrick really made up an imaginary daughter and everybody ran with it. :dead:

Do you think Ether woulda hit the same if Nas said Gloria Carter she raised a horrible person with a gambling addiction and a fake daughter instead of calling Jay-Z a dikk riding fakkit who loves the attention? :dead:

People are sick of Drake. This is really all it boils down to. All these songs wouldn't have charted and caught on like this if Kendrick was sending shots at J. Cole instead. It's like a counter culture moment.

I recently sat with This white girl at work that don't talk to Nobody...she brought up the Drake vs Kendrick Beef and started smiling from Ear to Ear ready to discuss it...

She absolutely Hates Drake and wanted Kendrick to destroy that Nygga... she's anticipating MORE bloodshed, checking daily for disses.

I think Even the white folks stop Fckin with Drizzy...

So what was she saying?
What's her angle or origin for hating him?
