:what: Parker was better than Duncan in 07??? What the fukk are you talking about? You can argue Parker wasn't even better than Ginobili in 07. Duncan averaged 23 and 11 in the 07 playoffs before the finals, where deferred to Parker because he had a good matchup vs. an injured Larry Hughes.

Duncan and D-Rob were equal in 99?? :laff: You must be trolling. Neg.
That was the most ridiculous thing I've read on this forum.

Let's chill w/this 12 year dominant Kobe run though bruh because if we REALLY being trill w/it, he wasn't dominant for 12 consecutive years but point taken

Which year from the 00-01 season where he averaged 28 until now was he not dominant? You can argue the year he got injured and that's about it. I consider the top 5 to top 10 guys as dominant. Duncan has not been that for years. Kobe still is. It's really that simple. That's not to say you can't say Timmy is better. When Mike retired the first time, many argued that he was the greatest of all time then.

Don't respond to that. He's one of those fake Lakers fan aliases meant to make Lakers fans look as ridiculous as possible. Look at the username.

The reason was team defense and the Spurs collectively laying off and letting him shoot. A strategy different from the regular season where LeBron dunked on Duncan. Parker was CLEARLY the best player in those finals. Please stop it, and I love Timmy's game.
Parker was not better. He scored better, but that doesn't mean he played better. Duncan anchored that team's defense. He is the reason Lebron couldn't score. Parker took advantage of his match up. It was Duncan that was drawing the double teams, not Parker.

I hate talking with idiots that don't know shyt about basketball. Stick to the video games.

Look stupid, I don't know who you think you're talking to. But I'm not one of these Kobe stans and I made you look dumb numerous times on SOHH and can easily do it now. Did I say drastically better? Did I ignore Duncan's near triple double in one game? Do I need to put on the game film right now for your dumb @ss? Duncan deferred to Parker in those finals because he had a much better match up and he dominated. Duncan was the one passing it to Parker on a lot of his baskets. I don't care about your ifs and buts. The fact of the matter is, in the 2007 NBA Finals Tony Parker was the best basketball player. He wasn't better than Duncan then, or LeBron but he was the best player. If you're too stupid to see that from the game film then I don't know what to tell you. Duncan had arguably 2 bad games out of 4 in the finals, Parker had 1 average game.

Shaq was better than Kobe in 01, but Kobe was the best player in those playoffs until the finals. Being the better player doesn't mean you're better for that series. Tony Parker shredded a Cavaliers defense that had been elite all year and all playoffs.

Cav's defense was geared to stop Duncan, NOT PARKER. Parker took advantage of all the single coverage that he received. He was being guarded by Booby Gibson and an injured Larry Hughes for fukk sakes. Duncan dominated the Cavs defensively. His impact goes beyond stats.

Kobe was not better than Shaq in the 2001 playoffs. If anything they were equals that year. Kobe dominated on the road and Shaq dominated at home.
