Hold on...Floyd isn't smarter with his D. Nobody could do nor get away with the kind of defense Roy Jones displayed during the meat of his career. Not Floyd..not Sugar Ray Robinson..it was one of a kind. He got older and lost. Which is the one true fact of boxing.
That doesn't change the fact that Roy's defense was based on atheletism. once that started sliding as he got older the d went too.
Mayweathers d is more about playing angles which doesn't require as much atheletism as it does skill. skill doesn't atrophy as you get older.

So if Canelo bodies dude, no excuses about how Floyd is old?

The D (where it's so cold)
How you figure, Canelo would be the new De La Hoya and would be the biggest draw in the sport
and the rematch would even in bigger

Can't see Floyd getting knocked out tho, but something don't seem right, he's probably gonna lose on the cards

True, but the biggest draw is always the villain. People will come running to see Floyd get knock out and that's the draw. Canelo will do numbers in terms of PPVs but nothing like Floyd because being well like doesn't make the money that hate does.

none whatsoever.
because first of all that will never happen.
floyd could lose but he would never get caught slipping like roy.
canelo would have to wear him down the entire fight and win on the cards or get a tko.

In any case most odds making are giving floyd a 70% chance or winning so its very unlikely.

Oscar was the big draw as the "good guy" for years.

also canelo doesn't have to win to become the next de la hoya. he's 24 and has a cult following. if this fight were to end up at least being like mayweather vs castillo 2. even with a loss canelo would still become the next top headliner in boxing.

Odds and critics don't mean shyt....this is boxing. Preparation and skill...I got Floyd winning by UD like any sane person but the odds don't mean jack shyt on who's winning. LMAO. I think Tito was favored to destroy Hopkins in 2001 but we all saw how that went down.

What were the odds for Douglas Tyson?
