What does this even mean?
You are saying no one saw it coming but a lot of people saw his skills were deteriorating after the first Tarver fight.
What does this even mean?
that was an upset. upsets can happen to fighter who are all about punchingWhat were the odds for Douglas Tyson?

Tyson was about not getting hit too. This is whats funny though. You just stated upsets can happen, but don't believe it can happen to Floyd. Do you realize how stupid that sounds?that was an upset. upsets can happen to fighter who are all about punching
mayweather is about not getting hit. upsets are very unlikely to happen to him.
You have to actually be a superior fighter to win. Luck is out of the equation unless mayweather has fallen off in the interim between now and his last fight.
Oscar was the big draw as the "good guy" for years.
Bullshyt. Nobody who posts regularly about boxing on these boards, or the old ones, saw Tarver KOing Roy. The way everyone rides Floyd now, is how they used to ride Roy then. You are saying no one saw it coming but a lot of people saw his skills were deteriorating after the first Tarver fight.
i love roy but![]()

I like Roy as well but he got over on his speed and athleticism. Floyd is has speed/athleticism as well but he is pure boxing skill and A+ boxing intellect, he ain't ordinary bruh.
you just said that tyson was a defensive fighter like mayweather and you're saying that i sound stupid?Tyson was about not getting hit too. This is whats funny though. You just stated upsets can happen, but don't believe it can happen to Floyd. Do you realize how stupid that sounds?

for this fight. I've never seen so many people picking against Floyd in a fight, even the odds are closer than any other recent Floyd fight.Oh shyt, you're actually serious though!
So, you're telling me, that in 1998, you just absolutely knew that Floyd Mayweather Jr, was going to be among the biggest stars of the new millenium? Boxing has been dying for over 60 years now. Its not going anywhere anytime soon. New stars, faces and stories always rise. Jou Louis, Rocky Marciano, Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Mike Tyson, Oscar De La Hoya, Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao. But yea, its over when Floyd retires.
But if shyt talking is what builds up a fight, how did Oscar become an empire?
I refuse to even humor such an asinine thread. I love the OP though.
I aint even gonna waste time looking for a mildly entertaining gif to convey emotion of a scenario that is never going to happen. Me sitting up here talking about Canelo knocking out Money "Kliqed up" Mayweather is like sitting up here and having a serious conversation about Batman coming through my window in the middle of the night and asking me to go save Gotham City with him.
It would be like talking about @R=G going outside and convincing a woman to sleep with him. Fantasy shyt that will never, ever happen.
Money May![]()

No,I didn't say Tyson was concerned about defense like Floyd. I said he was about not getting hit as well. Mike Tyson was not a "hit me and I'll hit you back fighter. He was about evading punches and coming back with his own. Thats defense. I don't care if Canelo isn't good enough to dominate, this is boxing and sporting competition. Anything can happen when you least expect it.you just said that tyson was a defensive fighter like mayweather and you're saying that i sound stupid?
watch some boxers that are actually comparable and you'll see the pattern. defensive fighters like winky wright. shyt even ali, they can lose fights but it's usually a decision. they don't often leave clean openings for KO's.
which means you have to dominate the fight to win by points.
Canelo isn't good enough dominate mayweather so he has to win by knockout.
a knockout doesn't happen very often against true defensive fighters.
