It's a reactionary decision based on the fact that they have a bum ass QB.

A Bum ass Quarterback with bum ass teammates.. The Jets were horrible on both sides of the ball the past 2 seasons.. Does Mark even have one Legitimate Playmaker? How's that run game? Is the OLine really that good?

There are so many variables that go into making a successful team... If quarterback was such a huge need why not Draft one #1 ..Obviously the team felt there was one bigger need in the first round than Quarterback...

Fez is so bad, he deserves to be in the running for Defensive Player of the Year the way he keeps feeding the opposition. He can't play anywhere. Geno is not in those qb's class but i think the Jets should start him regardless and see what they have because next years qb class is loaded i can envison a CLausen like situation where Geno plays they relaize hes not that good and they still draft a qb at the top of next years draft

I don't care about the envisioning portion but I agree with playing him so the Jets at least know what they have in him as to decide what to do next year in the draft

Rex is a lame duck coach so he's going to play Sanchez because of experience. Why start Geno with no offensive weapons, dude is really gonna look trash.

Plus MM is our coordinator not Sparano, so Sanchez should be much better.

You can't evaluate a QB off of 1 year, a lot of QB's don't really hit their stride till year 4 or 5.
