I don't agree.
Since There is no exact science to drafting a good qb, I'm under the belief that you draft a high one every year until you find one.
Plus, a good Geno gives us a chance at Jaedevon Clowney, who is the bigger certainty to NFL success than Bridgewater
Clowney's the exception to the rule, but we'd have to finish 1-15 to be assured of Clowney.
The problem with this is that there's other positions to fill, positions this franchise has either not fixed or worse, not even tried to fix, so where Idzik comes in, he needs to prove he can find gems late. The Seahawks look so potent now because they've been good at identifying talent late. Just last year the Jets practically quit on their draft after round 3.
Other than maybe Josh Bush (and Kerley has proven his worth), how many non high picks do you look at and think "man he could be really good?" We're too busy looking at the high picks we've invested and thought "why is he not living up to expectations"
I have nothing against Geno necessarily. Other than him not playing that well in cold weather (Eli Manning had the same problem), I have no issue with Geno moving forward.
