Possible production vs actual production on the cheap like we're getting with Fitzpatrick.

It's a veteran offense. Fitzpatricks having a good year. Geno isn't getting slighted or the shaft at all.

No....the difference between you and me is that you can still see more upside in Geno and know not to pull Fitz because the continuity he's developed playing with the receivers when Geno went down. If Geno Smith doesn't get a chance in NYJ to start, in spite of the poor circumstances he was given, including one of the worst receiver casts in football, I'm done with the Jets. In 2013 all Geno had was a disaffected Santonio Holmes. In 2013 all he had was a groggy Decker. Kerley doesn't even play on the Jets anymore, yet this is a player Geno is being judged for playing with. The same is true of Cumberland, whom isn't even as good as the UDFA the Jets are playing now as TE.

Does Geno suck and can't improve? Maybe, but I've seen improvement from him. Somehow though he hasn't been afforded the same luxuries as many QBs taken in the 1st and 2nd to start, learn and progress. Geno needs to get his chance.

He s a black qb he will not get the same opportunites as a white QB- SEe: RG# 3rd string in DC but all the excuses in the world for Luck and Matt Ryan this year- meanwhile Cam Newton "just has an easy schedule"

He never passed the eye test as it is
You do see what Cam is doing with a very subpar WR core

Being captain obvious doesn't change the fact that you've used Bowles and his belief to downplay Geno rather than up play the obvious continuity Fitz has had playing with the receivers being the real reason why he's playing. No one is advocating to break that up. You spent a lot of time making Fitz playing time a reflection of Geno rather than that
