When I have to imagine him, I like to imagine that “God” is this creature whose lifespan and size/presence/reality we cannot even begin to comprehend. Earth has been here for over 4 billion years. Humans have been on this planet for just around 6 million of those years. That’s .15% of the time earth has been around. So if god created everything, and we’re going off of evolution yadda yadda, god probably doesn’t even know we exist. He probably stepped away for a piss or to crank one out and by the time he got back 100 million years had passed and what does he care, in his plane of existence that’s like 30 seconds.

What a boring conversation. God as described in the Christian bible is a bad creator anyways. The book seems like it’s written specifically to cape for God’s unwillingness to do...uhhh...anything. 2 thousand years ago, I understand people taking it seriously. But now?

Yesterday a little girl with brain cancer who died was all over my IG feed.

Clearly she did nothing to deserve that fate. Yesterday you saw hundreds, thousands of people praying for her recovery and saying:

“it’s not over til God says it’s over”
“the doctor doesn’t have the last word!”

seemed like a very opportune time to show up for all these people praying for the little girl in god’s name . What was the purpose of that little girl going thru all that pain just for god to not show up when his followers called on his name?
