How do we know what plan god has for us to follow?

Gods plan is for us to be with him in heaven, we were originally supposed to be in the garden with him but that got ruined. Thankfully the Lord had the best back up plan ever..

but honestly does an answer even matter to you? :ld:

Of course it matters I am agnostic but if god exist and I haven't been following his teachings that means im going to hell but I have yet to have a christian effectively explain it to me so I guess I will go on not believing because everyone defending religion and god in her have done a horrible job.

I honestly dunno how well i can explain it to you honestly my friend, you could read the bible and answer those questions you have yourself. even if you dont believe whats written it would give a good perspective :ehh:

Read the bible. It is the worst 'evidence' for Christian belief available. Many people become atheists after fully reading the bible.
Most Christians have only read selected passages of it and haven't ever read it in its entirety.

Gods plan is for us to be with him in heaven
Do we we have free will to not follow this "plan"?
he/she is God why not just bring us to heaven immediately?
what is the point of being on earth?

does this "plan" seem rather simplistic to you?

YAHUSHA HA MASHIACH
didn read anything but the first page.

the choices you make do not effect the knowledge of Yahuah. Yahuah can see the end from the beginning, thus He is outside of your free will in the same way a father is outside of the free will of a son. If you know your son well enough, as He does, then you know what he is going to do next. really really simple.

Ok.

Every minute or even second, you are making decisions in life, those decisions gear you towards what you can become.

There is a plan laid out, but you don't know what it is. Ideally for someone living in america you would hope that the plan involves money and success, because of our opportunities, but perhaps it doesn't and this is our way of balancing the scale since many others around the world aren't as blessed.

Back to my first paragraph, once accumulating all of these decisions, it will be the final result of your life. It can be bad or good, you can die happy or sad. The plan is there, but since we have free will there is a plan b. And there is nothing wrong with plan b, its part of the original plan I figure. Not everyone can become what they were born to be.

I'm sorry if this is a bit hazy, does it make any sense?

What leads you to believe the part in bold is true?

This makes no sense to me if humans cant preceive god which it sounds like thats what you are telling me then how do we know he exist or has a plan in the first place.
You do know what the word "Supernatural" means right?

How (or why) do you try to understand something that is supernatural with natural perception? Makes no sense. You can perceive God in how he influences things in or around your life but ultimately even that is faith based and by faith based I mean having no founding in "natural" explanation...ergo the word supernatural.

Quite literally you either do or you don't and trying to "understand" it is pointless, it's a belief...not a fact, not a science but a belief. Anyone telling you different is either to ignorant to know the difference or flat out lying to you.

Yes we can choose to not follow his plan and follow ours, thats called living in sin and altho God loves us he cannot be in the presence of sin.

he cant bring us to heaven because we are born with a sinful nature from adam and one day he will call us back to be with him for now our job is to make sure as many of us as possible get to go with him when he comes back.

earth and the garden were meant to be a place to chill with God, but adam and eve sinned so they were cast out :/

once again im not expert in this and a pastor could help answer alot of the questions, that is if you even believe the answers

You don't follow the plan and you are going to hell.

I'm joking lol, let me see if I can break it down a bit more. There's yin and yang, right? Good cannot exist without bad, love without hate, cat without dog (lol). Disregard the idea of a plan, because what's most important is whether you are happy or unhappy.

Remember how we used to make those one things as children? The little fortune tellers that were made out of paper? Well, That's how I see life. If I am happy, then that will open an entirely different can of worms than if I am unhappy, Different things will unfold. These 2 emotions are what decide every moment in life. But beware, just because you are happy that doesn't mean that you are always doing the right thing, and if you are unhappy that doesn't mean you're doing the wrong thing; when it comes to your health.

To answer your question: As long as you are alive my friend! You will always be following someone's plan. Whether it is at work, at home with your wife, or as your family raises you. The entirety of your life is based on someone's plan.

And yes, you can change the plan, you have options. But why change something unless you're unhappy?

What makes you believe a God has influence over your happiness?

I agree with the part in bold but i don't know for sure that God has anything to do with it.
