He's been doing this since '97 and a lot of shiit played out in real life, too. Hard to call him a gimmick.

Of course Em's pain is going to be different than Pac and Scarface. I'm a black dude from the South, but a lot of Em's pain and frustrations with life, love, and success I can relate too and its one of the reasons I've listened to him since day one.

I agree its hard to put Em in the top 5, shiiit its hard to put Jay or B.I.G. in the top 5. But he is top 10 easily. Lol @ you thinking every single one of these rappers are better than Em.

Doing what since 97?. We definitely differ on the easily top 10 statement, but your entitled to your opinion. But I can't see how he is anywhere near people like KRS-One, K-Rino, 2 Pac, Nas, Rakim, Jay Z, Biggie, BIg Pun, Guru, Big Daddy Kane and many others. I think if you compare someone like K-Rino to Eminem he embarrasses him, same with KRS-One, they on some grown shyt and Eminem was stuck at near 40 making fart jokes. Yeah I think that and I think MANY others are better than him too, that was just a quick run off list. I've heard a huge amount of artists discographies along with Eminem's so my opinion is based off what I heard, someone else might have a different opinion and that's cool, it's subjective, but I feel I could argue a very strong and compelling case for artists such as KRS-One and K-Rino over Eminem.

Niccas just naming random rappers now, 2/3's of these niccas don't have an albums as goodvas Mmlp or even Eminem Show.

And dudes talk about classic songs? Em has tons of em, guilty conscience, way i am, stan, lose yourself, stay wide awake etc are undeniable. His "artistry" is just severrly underrated on this board. Fat Joe???:comeonson: Chino XL fukk u too

Not naming random poeple at all, I know 1000's of artists, just named a few I personally consider are better than him. If you disagree cool. I disagree, there's many artists albums I would take over every Eminem album. Eminem had some good shyt on Eminem show and scattered but I don't think his body of work is dope but obviously you have a different opinion. Stan, Guilty Conscience yes, not sure about the others personally. I think Fat Joe has a better body of work yes. And that Chino shyt is old lol, even Pac and Chino squashed it LONG time ago lol.

See at this point you talking reckless. If YOU are so knowledgeable I'll challenge YOU to write some bars at me and I do the same and see who's are better. You are entitled to your opinion whether wrong or right, but to say I'm talking out my ass is stupid, Jealous One's Envy and Don Cartegena are very well respected albums, Joe has a solid catalogue and is a respected artist. If your hurt that someone has a different opinion than you you need to get off Eminem's dikk and grow up.

AllHipHop.com: As far as the beef with Tupac and yourself, did you get to squash that before he passed?

Chino XL: I don't really like to talk about it too much because I've talked about it so much. I've got a chance to see him on Venice Beach one time right before he passed and I let him know that if I would have known [my lyrics] would have [upset] him like that, I would never have said it. I mean I was a fan of his like everyone else was. Everything was straight though and the Outlawz are my peeps from Jersey so it was all peace.

You would have a strong argument if he overdosed and died back in 2003 after the release of the 8 Mile Soundtrack. But Encore was atrocious. Easily one of the worse albums by an elite emcee. Took 5 years off! 5 years. And came back with Relapse. Easily his most accessible able production wise. It had potential to be great concept album but the over the top subject matter (Insane) :mindblown: redundant singles (We Made You, Old Times Sake), Exec producing (left off Careful What You Wish For, My Darling, Buffalo Bill and Hell Brakes Loose) and rehashed album sequences (same as is last 4 albums) killed the potential greatness this album had. Its clear it lacked a great Executive Producer with vision that could have pulled that concept off nicely.

A year later you have Recovery. He actually steps out of his comfort zone with new producers and some how manages to put out a boring album production wise. :mindblown: Thats the best you could get from Just Blaze? :snoop: Add in the new Forever Verse flow and screaming delivery and horribly executed punchlines and concepts and you have one of his worse albums to date. Duets with Lil Wayne and Rihanna? The album was as POP as you could get from a rapper who once loathed POP culture.

Bad Meets Evil EP compared to WTT and Distant Relatives was a joke.

So thats 10 years plus without a debatable classic album. Rappers like Lupe, Kendrick, Cole and Drake have dropped more arguable classic material than Em has in the past decade. His decline is almost as bad to watch as Penny Hardaways.

I know, right.

He was a tortured soul and the white girls loved it and help him go diamond. Em can rap his ass off, though. He spit some crazy verses the last few years, so he still got his edge.
