If i joined the military...how hard would it be to join the special forces?

I have.... A bad impression overall of special forces. Mainly because of this dikkwad of a Cac I had to deal with in Afghanistan.
But basically they specialize in Guerilla Warfare, hostage rescue, peacekeeping, and manhunts.
A lot of people have asked me if I ever killed someone in Afghanistan, the answer is no I did not, but had I been Special Forces the answer would've 99% been yes

I don't have experience with SF personally but your missions will usually be close call situations. You may get dropped off in a small craft, have to swim to shore, locate and take out your target (slitting throats), escape without notice, swim back to your boat, and all of this in pitch black darkness with minimal gear.

What more do you want to know? Basically they are the ones who will "deal" with terrorist threats first hand. They mingle with the local nationals in the cities and provinces, gather Intel, in some cases interrogate suspects, etc
A lot of us say you'd have to be a special type of crazy to WANT to be SF lol
