They only pick from other branches; You wound have to be a beret or ranger in order to even be considered.......... Also keep in mind that those special forces guys don't wear identification due to them having an 80%+ mortality rate
give us more stories breh
Yo breh I see u deployed to Afghanistan what bout Iraq?Breh I don't even know where to start lol. Actually I'll drop a funny one.
So Korea was my first duty station after AIT. From AIT there were 12 of us who ended up deployed there together. Of those 12 they divided us into different bases. There was Camp Casey, Camp Hovey, Camp Red Cloud, Camp Stanley, and a few others. 5 of us got put in Camp Red Cloud (which is located in a little city called Uijeongbu which is about 45 minutes from Seoul) of those four it was
Duckinson- black female, around 5 "2", 18 years of age. I viewed her as a little sister, very nice sweet young girl (bi-sexual)
Batemen- Beautiful black female, I mean BAAADDD. 22 years of age. In AIT I dated her best friend so we were cool with each other (also bi-sexual at the time)
Fronter- A light skinned black guy, 19 years of age. Me and him were REAL cool because we are in Basic AND AIT together, now we were in Korea. I Called him Fresh Prince cause he looked like young Will Smith and he called me Sincere, because all I listened to was Nas lol.
Me- tall dark and handsome young man, 24 years of age. Known for a canny fascination for consumer electronics.
Brown- slender dark skinned female with glasses. 20 years of age. Very quiet and shy
There was also a young Cac girl whose name I cant remember and nobody messed with. Shes irrelevant
So we all ended up at Camp Red Cloud, the TINIEST base I've ever been in. You could literally walk from one end of it to the other on 15 minutes. We were all 92G (cooks) and there were two dining facilities (Dfacs) Kilbourne Dining Facility and CG's Mess. Kilbourne was the main facility, run by this peckerwood Cac named Sgt Smallwood. This guy just LOOKED like he lynched nikkas for fun in his youth

So myself, Duckinson, and The Cac girl (Holmes! That was her name..) of course end up at Kilbourne with the peckerwood. Fronter, Bateman, and Brown end up at CG's Mess. We pretty much all stuck together as a unit that year as we were all in the same barracks (males and females shared the same barracks, NOT the same rooms though. So much smashing and fukkery) and hailed from the same AIT class. At Kilbourne there were three other Cacs. Keller, Henderson, and Fitch.

There was also Pitt, a black gay girl, and Jones, a cool black guy. All of these characters made up Kilbourne dining facility...

Yeah, I lucked out and never got deployed or sent to Korea in my 6 years in the Air Force. I even put worldwide volunteer on my dreamsheet just to get out of Missouri and somehow got Belgium. Every E-5 and up said I was the luckiest fukker they ever met cause they'd never seen anybody get anything other than deployed or Korea after putting worldwide volunteer on their sheet.
went back to college insteadtell me your stories

I'm decent at map reading, you give a map and some points with compass plus a ruler, I figure the coordinates out. I got a photographic memory so I can picture my last point in my head that helps me keep track of the distance in my head when traveling plus I was kinda familiar with the area of the map reading course because my unit ruck-marched every Wednesday around that areathank you bro. How long did it take you to become good with land nav?
True machines. shyt aint even make sense.People forget about the intelligence aspect and only focus on the mental and physical requirements. Those dudes are smart as fukk.
Hey, its better they do that shyt over THEREGeopolitics and "morals" aside, while I do not agree with some of the stuff the military does, I can respect how REAL the guys who do the real dirty work are.
