it's like comparing Shaq to Hakeem, Nas being Hakeem. both are on the Top 5 Centers ever list but they had extremely different approaches to playing the position. Hakeem was much more technically sound, Shaq was brute force, a monster, he was bigger than just basketball. if someone wants to say Shaq (Pac) is better there's nothing wrong with that, though i'm sure the lovers of technical skills would say Hakeem (Nas) is.

Then you'd have to just point out to those lovers of technical skills Shaqs approach also won twice the ammount of championships as Hakeems:pachaha:

When talking about an artists discography and that artist dies you never count the posthumous work if you're trying to make a point. It didn't have his artistic thought when it was made and he had no control on who can be on that album.
What does it matter if the album turns out to be good?

I see your point of view, but I just don't fully agree. I mean they're still Pac verses, and I doubt Pac would have denied most of the stuff that got put out as it did anyways. If anything I would think that should be seen as an impressive aspect of someone's rapping abilities/lyrics/relevance that would add to the argument of them being better - Pac has multiple albums that came out years after he died, that he had no input in, that featured various artists and producers that he had no say in, and yet it still turns out better than someone's album who is alive and does have all of those things going for him.

Y'all must not seen pac perform before, he forgot words to some of his songs all the time while on stage, NaS did it right besides being stale and boring.
naS just wasnt believable. shyt sound fraudulent and he knows it. When you listed to Pac you was believin he believed what he was tellin you... when you listen to naS you just be thinkin :duck: the whole damn time... nikka dont care about no kids in the hood, nikka aint no cut from the same cloth as no goddamn Pac. Thats what I mean when I say he's like Pac without all the good shyt that makes Pac.... Pac.

I would say we need another being that was raised in a concrete black movement and awareness to arise again.

Ghetto dwellers going to lectures and learning on the street is not cutting it.....

We need someone who naturally has it in their blood to spark a revolution

Nas has music in his blood, not a warriors spirit

I look at Nas asking to fukk his wife again similar to the movie 300

nikka went to war all over a bytch and lost nearly his whole tribe

I don't think nikkas feel where I'm getting to....

I don't think people really know what a real leader is...

Yeah saying fuk that hell hole Orlando(NY) to rep Cali(Cali) is a sell ya soul move:heh:...he was only reppin out of a false sense of loyalty to his roots anyway....came to his senses and :blessed: u know the rest.

Thug Life and MATW was definitly ring worthy btw:childplease:

Hakeem beat young Shaq and outplayed him head to head only reason I don't like that comparison...we all know Nas got backed down head to head with Pac...and got outshined by a 10 year old Pac verse when they finally collabed:ohlawd:
