u clearly are not a fan because if u did " actually " bought a pac album that he made while alive then u are listening to pac u just nitpicking imo.
How am I nitpicking? I love Pac and when I'm listening to his songs/albums I'm listening for him specifically. I don't want to hear his weak friends on a track that he completely outshines 100% of the time and just makes them seem like they're getting in the way. Outlawz would be completely irrelevant without Pac
That's like if MMLP had D12 on every song, shyt just wouldn't be on the same level. I like D12 to some extent, but Eminem was always leaps and bounds better than them and his verses always stood out so much more, and if I'm listening to an Eminem album its to actually hear Eminem. I don't see why there's so much animosity on this complaint. Pac's albums would have been soooooooo much better if it was actually 95% or so of Pac on them. This is by far my biggest complaint with Pac's music.
Same thing if I'm listening to a Method Man album, I prefer to hear the main artist rather than a bunch of other people (although Wu are good as guest artists, but still)
I wouldn't want to hear a Busta Rhymes album with ATCQ on every track.
Or a Scarface album with Geto Boys on every track.
Or a Redman album with Def Squad people on every track.
Or a Nas album with The Firm on every track
Would you want to hear Puff Daddy/P Diddy w/e on all of BIG's tracks (actually spitting)?
I mean if you want to do a group/collab album that's fine and I'll listen to it as such. But when you have a solo album that's filled with a bunch of other guys, it just kills the vibe when I am listening to that album with the intent of hearing 1 main artist.
And it's not even just Outlawz, every album had tons of guest artists.
Some of these people may have been in choruses, but you get the idea
2pacalypse Now - around 12 guest artists/verses or w/e
S4MN - around 10
Thug Life members were boring
Me Against the World - probably had the least features, but still around 6 or so
AEOM - 30+
Makaveli - around 10 or so
Then of course all his posthumous albums always had tons of guests
