They could have paid off the mortgages and made citizens whole, but instead made sure "Big Short" fat cats could keep their mansions. But at least we got a rebranded Republican health plan that missed some of the vital features that made it work.....

And why did he move to right economically? because the Dems wanted to return to power, and were willing to work with the people "across the aisle".

I don't even follow politics too tough (for my town at least), but they they talk minutiae of who to run in what race, or talk about eliminating parking minimums and bike lanes.

Because he won a higher but relatively small share of the independent voter's vote. he won in 2016 by less than 60k votes accross 3 swing states and despiute his victory over kamala seeming like a dominat wipe out, he still only received less than 2 percent higher vote share
