Hes 2-4 in the finals (could be 1-5 easily if not for miracle)

Its not that much of a accomplishment to dominate a historically weak conference

And even within the conference he's struggled to get past teams who were injured.

So if he makes finals this year

But loses in finals

Does his legacy take a hit ?

Lb is the only athlete who gets celebrated for jus getting there

Cam jus got killed for the last 3 weeks

It's striking how much Bron and Wilt's careers mirror each other.

They were both HS prodigies and physical freaks of nature that were nationally known way before they turned 18.

They both generally received a lot of backlash and disdain in their careers, Wilt famously said "nobody likes to root for goliath" referring to all the hate he got.

They both lost a lot on the big stage ( as of right now they are tied with 2 championships)

They play different positions but even that is similar since Bron is looked at as so big/strong and athletic for a wing player.

Just an observation of mine.

Jim Kelly is 0-4 in the Super Bowl.
Eli Manning is 2-0 in the Super Bowl.

and if you think that championship record makes Eli Manning the better QB, then :camby:

This isn't football. There's 5 starters on the court, not 22 not including special teams where players only play one side of the field. fukk outta trying to compare football with basketball. :camby:

Do Robert Horry's titles make his legacy outweigh that of, say, Kevin Garnett? Or Patrick Ewing? Or Karl Malone?

You guys want to act like championships are individual achievements only when it suits your narratives.
When the Lakers won, it was all Kobe?
But when they were .500 teams it was all Smush Parker's fault?
