I cant believe its 2016 and there are still retards who think players should lose in the earlier rounds instead of making the finals and losing for the sake of their "legacy."

And quite frankly OP, you're just a hater. Lord knows if he lost earlier than the Finals he'd be condemned for "not being good enough to make it in a weak east."

Just shut the fuk up lol

Jordan won because he had Pippen...and later on he could lean on Kukoc and Rodman.

The whole "Jordan won 6 titles" is just as silly as any other argument for any player.
All you have to do is look at how he was throttled by the Pistons for years before he finally broke through to know it's the truth.

If you guys are gonna talk about impact and performance, you can hardly point to anything that suggests Lebron losing 3 or 4 Finals specifically being HIS fault.
MJ had Pippen when he was getting beat down by Postons so stfu

Of course he did.

A 22 year old Pippen.

Do you have any concept of progression?
The fukk you think, Scottie was gonna come around in 1987 as a rookie and automatically just dethrone a team that went to the Conference Finals? And a team that lost in the NBA Finals that very year?

The Pistons were exceptional but without Scottie and the progress that he made defensively and offensively, there's no way MJ gets those 1st three chips.
Let alone the next three.

Do Robert Horry's titles make his legacy outweigh that of, say, Kevin Garnett? Or Patrick Ewing? Or Karl Malone?

You guys want to act like championships are individual achievements only when it suits your narratives.
When the Lakers won, it was all Kobe?
But when they were .500 teams it was all Smush Parker's fault?

:comeon:
Hey look it's a Kobe Stan contradicting his own argument by going to ring counting and then claiming it isn't a fair argument when used against him. Never seen this before :heh:

Stop it. Lbron has faced 7 .500 or worse teams in the playoffs. In that same timeframe, 2006 til now, no western conference team with a .500 or worse record has ever played in the playoffs.
Lets get one thing straight. anything LeBron did pre or post Miami Heat, i dont give a fukk about. Those 4 years they played 12 different series and only one was against a sub .500 team. The East being historically weak in that time frame is a myth, the Heat were just a juggernaut

Who says this?

Are you really going to play this stupid game like you've never seen people cite "Kobe's 5 titles" when talking about his legacy? Especially when they try to compare Kobe to other players?

:what:

I HATE WHEN PEOPLE MAKE THIS RETARDED ASS ARGUMENT. U CANNOT COMPARE ROLE PLAYERS TO FOCAL POINTS WHEN DEBATING TITLE COUNT SMFH. WINNING AS A CAPTAIN/LEADER OF THE TEAM IS A LIL DIFF THAN WINNIN AS A ROLE PLAYER :comeon:

There are two things at play here

1. Espn has lebron as the 3rd greatest player ever yet lebron in the post season does not reflect that so he needs to start living up to that hype and he hasnt

2. As someone said the eastern conference has been bad since jordan left so lebron getting to the finals most with the help of other all stars isnt exactly an accomplishment.

So basically lebron is billed as one of the greatest yet played in the weakest eastern conference era ever. Gets to the finals and proeceeds to not only lose but get throttled and choses to shut down and dissapear in majority of them

ESPN IS ENQUIRE STATUS NOWADAYS

So your advice to bron is to sabotage his own team and lose in the first round? That way his legacy doesnt take as many "hits"

Make 6 straight finals with two different teams and still get clowned brehs
not two different teams really. The nikka made his own teams so to me it's the same shyt different jersey.

Except that you need to acknowledge that often times role players put teams and star players in the position to win.

How many fukkin shots did Robert Horry make that even led to the Lakers being in a position to win in the first place?
There were games where 1 or 2 missed Horry shots keep the Lakers out of the finals. And then you guys would be out here talking shyt about how Shaq or Kobe couldn't lead their teams to the title...
