Its been 4 fukkING YEARS and that's how far they've taken it, breh.

That dude is something else. The 1.4 seconds it takes to press a button and have something happen isn't enough to warrant some accessory being shoe-horned into the development of a console and cause it to be underpowered and overpriced. I have Tomb Raider on my PS4 and that supports voice commands and you know what? You don't require a fukking mandatory CAMERA to use VOICE commands. I can use my headset or the mic on the controller as long as a headphone is plugged in and despite all these options, I still just press fukking d-pad left/right to switch weapons. Saying "BOW" really doesn't make or break any situation in the game no matter how "serious" of a gamer you are.

The irony of pretending to be some "elite" gamer. Voice commands and such have a much wider margin for error as opposed to a simple button press. This nikka gonna be talking about how kinect is so helpful when used to hurl grenades in Halo 5 soon.

That's MS' fault for making Kinect games a priority for 1st party devs that have created great games in the past. Should have created new dev teams for Kinect games (they did, but obviously more is needed). A team like Rare shouldn't be making kinect only games, that's crazy and i'm glad that they can now focus on other projects. I like the Kinect, it serves a purpose imo and if used properly it can elevate games to another level...shyt I love using it to navigate my box, u;m just not into the zumba and kinect sports games as much...but if it's used in other forms of games that i'm more interested in that could be some dope shyt.

the issue is... at 4 years later.. $150 for the 1 and $100 extra for the bundled/required 2.... this shyt should have been figured out by now

then people turn around and said "oh it's gonna force devs to use it" it hasn't... not in any significant way that is driving people in droves to get the kinect versions

and now it's.... wait a for MORE years and you'll see. nobody got time for that shyt.. people already got the kinect collecting dust. thinking they was gonna be playing 2k and madden and street fighter by running, dribbling and kicking around the living room

it was a major letdown

BF4, Madden, NBA2k, Forza to navigate instantly to all the various menus the game has
The system, Xbox Fitness, Xbox TV which will have interactive features, Fortaleza Glasses make use of it as well

So basically this bytch nikka just wants to say "Nah, nothing they do will work" even tho he hasn't used it in any of these games he's hating on
I guess he has to stay true to the thread title, regardless of what info is shared

he didn't say it didn't work... he said who in their right mind would pay 100-150 dollars to be able to say "time-out" instead of pressing the back button... or lean instead of hitting the button.. or navigate the xbox screen instead of talking to it

lets not even go into what happens when you play two player... or you're just talking to people while playing a game... or the stereo is loud as fukk


you are talking about people who have gotten down a button layout to a T since the first dual shocks and snes button layouts... it's not like you had to enter the contra code to call a timeout fam.. i promise you i can enter about 5 different audibles before my people get to the line... while you over there calling out assignments from the sideline like a head coach, i've already entered in about 5-6 commands

I feel you...but it's used in more than 3 games, it's also a big component in the free streaming built into the box which A LOT of pple are doing now. If MS had priced the console better while not allocating so much of it's resources for Kinect it wouldn't have been such an issue for people.
