There's no way that a democrat would have been able to act like trump for myriad of reasons

The supreme court are not democrat friendly and if Biden or Obama tries to ignore the courts ruling then they lose the support of even their own party in congress

The media, despite what some believe, are not particularly democrat friendly and Trump essentially has his own state media in fox news to spin his authoritarian shyt or even not cover it

They didn't completely own democrats in congress the way trump owns republicans in congress who dances to his every whim

And then there's the voters who are hollier than thou and whose left factions are purist to the core

neither obama or Biden had all these factors working in their favour
