Exactly. Dude could put out 5 albums in 96 and they woulda been okay with it because of his work ethic, quality of material and it woulda sold like hot cakes. The error on him was being so loyal and lackadaisical that he erred on the accounting side. And of course any company would be cool with a worker not collecting all of his chips regardless of how "cool" everyone is with each other.
Fact of the matter is that Pac loved Death Row, but with a little focus on the business side he coulda bought his freedom from the label in 2 years, which most artists can't do.
