Artists that take themselves very seriously tend to flop his interviews. They dismiss him as weird or try to hard. You gotta just have fun with it, see where it goes and be humble.

Jay's one was bad too. Jay loves to control the narrative of his interviews but you can't do that with Nardwuar. He's going to dig in his bag and take you where he wants to go. He's done the research so it's all viable.

We need that Kanye one. BUt he's another that loves to control the narrative. wants to talk fashion. Nard will make him talk BEATS & RHYMES.

Some people just dont get his whole schtick and to be honest, I know he's been super famous in Canada since the 80s but if I wasn't aware of him and saw this guy trying to be all funny style I would either laugh it off and play along with it or be like this guy is too much. Depends on the mood. Probably doesn't help that both happened during low times for them.

Some guys are gonna get ambush and yes they have PR and managers who tell them about him but even then his shyt can get overwhelming

Always find it weird when kids start hating on the artist like half of them as introverts probably wouldn't react the same.

His team is very thorough and dig up the artists past. The pharrell one is one of his best because pharrell appreciates how much research hes done. Skip to about 2 mins in

You should watch more of the interviews, the good ones, his interviews can be very interesting and insightful cause he does his research well and normally brings new things out of an interview. Think there's a Nardwuar interview appreciation thread somewhere, has had some great interviews.
