I don't think I've ever watch a full Nardwar inteview, and even if I watched more than a minute or two of one I don't remember it. He looks like Weird Al or some shyt.

What exactly is his routine that catches everybody so off guard?
basically he starts asking you questions about very obscure stuff from your past. either random shyt that you sampled, or very obscure records that might have influenced you. or sometimes he'll ask you about a place you used to hang out at when you were 12 and you'll be like "how the fukk does he know about that shyt? :wtf:" so he does a lot of musical trivia research about you. so it's that mixed with his weird off putting delivery. some of them aren't that great but sometimes it's funny as fukk.

He's got some really great interviews.

Let's be real. Nas got mad when Nardwuar said he couldn't keep all that stuff lol. I love Nas, but Nas wanted to keep that shyt and Nard was like "Nah breh":mjlol:

But he's done ones with Common, Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, Drake, Ghostface Killah, Pharrell, Wale' and others that were fantastic. If you have an appreciation for the research he does and the insight he tries to get for the audience then you can appreciate his shtick.

The Nas one is hilarious because he was playing along until he found out he couldn't keep all the gifts and then he got mad.

As a Canadian, I remember seeing Nardwuar interviews on MuchMusic 10-15 years ago and I'm happy that he's been so accepted by the hip-hop community.

You know whats fukked up is I found Henry Rollins to be entertaining but after his Nardwuar interview where he took himself too seriously, I just wrote his stupid ass off.

In fact, I co sign the thread starter that if a rapper gets too sensitive in a Nardwuar interview it's hard to like em after.
