Its over for Democracy. If he can attempt to pull off a coup without charges and still manage to become president he'll appoint more conservative federal judges, impose a national abortion ban, stoke right wing violence (which will become so frequent that it'll go unreported), deregulate all polluting industries, dismantle institutions that strengthen democracy, give more tax breaks to the wealthy, and go all out to ensure permanent minority rule.
There's really nothing stopping him at that point. He'll be more vengeful and see it as a greenlight/mandate to go full authoritarian.
On international front he'll pull out of NATO. Putin will take Ukraine and invade all NATO backed Baltic countries risking nuclear conflict. And China will see the political turmoil in the US as an opportunity to invade Taiwan.

We see the world from two different lenses. I'm saying Biden had an opportunity to do more when he got in office when Dems controlled Congress. Student loans was a campaign promise. Instead he made his move after republicans took control knowing how they would respond. My position is pretty simple. More could have been done earlier during his tenure as President.
What are we warring over?
States will start to secede. I especially see California saying "nah. We out" it will be the end of the union. Southern states already basically want to function as completely independent countries. It's not a stretch to see the United States as we know it dissolving. I can see NY and Cali trying to merge with Canada if not just deciding they're independent and leaving. If Trump tries to force them to be part of the union through military action, I can see the European Union funding them to fight back and resist Ukraine style.

Basically this. Part of the reason I can't stand Trump is because people (for or against) wouldn't shut the fukk up about him. I don't want another 4 years of that.If he won, I'd go media silent for 4 years. When he was president, it was as if no news happened at all that didn't involve him for 4 years. Would not look to another Trumpcentric 4 years of news coverage.
I don't say anything about republicans because they are pretty honest about their stance and they usually follow through with it. I don't agree with them but it's pretty obvious where they stand. To answer your questions:Stop with the vague shyt. You said more could have been done.
1) What is the more that you’re referring to that Biden and Biden could have done?
2) Given the resistance to the 10-20k that Biden tried to forgive, why do you think a bigger forgiveness would have been successful?
3) Why aren’t you blaming congress for not sending Biden a bill to sign with bigger forgiveness?
4) Why aren’t you blaming congressional republicans for supporting it?
5) What are your thoughts on Republicans literally voting to repeal Biden’s last round of pauses and to charge back interest?
6) What do you think Trump/ DeSantis will do with student loans? Do you think either of those men will take better action on student loans than Biden? Do you think student loan borrowers will be better off under Biden, Trump, or DeSantis?
