Nope, they are an American-born African. or American African.

If Negro weren't so "offensive" and out of date this would be clearer.

Breh have you ever met an Italian-american? These people would let you know that they're Italian even though they were born here in the states. They're are like the Puerto Ricans of the Europeans community cos they would rep their flags whenever given chance. Hispanics for the most part would go by their parents country and be like I'm Mexican, I'm Peruvian, I'm Colombian and etc. Probably the same with asians probably and for a fact middle easterns as well.

The thing is many immigrants would put their ethnic group first/ nationality before race. America is all about race , and see black and white so I can see where your coming from .

But when did you ever heard a white American calling him/herself euro american?

Facts, they get insulted if you lump them in with other Euros.
