Then having a white spouse or parent would make you / your kid ~75% white right?

So if we are about to believe the average nikka is hovering somewhere around 25% white dna through admixture then a biracial person would be damn near as black as a black American is white?

How does this work? Before people come in here angry or mad about some shyt, I'm not a geneticist, math wiz or even that smart :manny: I'm asking a question so break it down for a player. Something isn't adding up :patrice:

Their judging based on the data that they have. They can only come to solid conclusion if all black people took the test. That's including all of African diaspora and Africans. If more black people take the Dna test the more accurate they can get. :yeshrug:

If you have A couple of biracial people deep in your family tree it's easy to get 25%. Biracials were absorbed into the black community becuase they weren't allowed and couldnt be white.

that's not how it works

you have to take into consideration what the white spouses genetic makeup is

it's not as simple as

2 Black parents = 100%

1 White, 1 Black = 50, 50

Race is a flawed concept to begin with anyway lets just focus on what the majority of our dna is.
If non black shyt isn't traceable to at least your grandparents then its whatever :yeshrug:

There's no known white people or anything else in my family history but my great great grandfather was kinda bright tho :patrice:

I assume all white people are 100% cac :yeshrug:

If the one black parent is 25% cac then how does that not effect anything?

all white people aren't 100 tho...

and you gotta take into consideration... you have millions of ancestors on both sides
it wouldn't seem logical to think they were all 100% of 1 race

you don't just say his mom is 25W and 75B
his dad is 100W and 0B

so 100 + 25 = 125
125 / 2 = 75
so he's 75 white

i don't think that's how it works

im pretty sure your math is off.
if one parent was 25% white they contribute 12.5% of their whiteness to their offspring.
so the child [assuming the other parent is 100% white]
wouldnt be 75% white.
maybe though.
although i dont think most aa are 25% white.

thats all the comment i have for this thread though.

You're 100% right. Look below for the real genetic analysis (credit goes to Roddy Right for finding it) on African Americans, which utilitizes real anthropological samples taken from American cities, not biased and volunteered samples from DNA analysis companies, which are often older samples from more wealthy African Americans (early DNA testing was more expensive) and pendant (early people to do this were professionals or academics; it basically means less black).

The following study actually uses real anthropological African American samples from regions like Detroit, New York, Philly, Baltimore, Houston, South Carolina, etc and finds that the average African American isn't close to 25% white:

"This data is slanted and incorrect because African Americans that submit their DNA to testing are usually richer and less black than the average African American population. This is a study which integrates anthropological data, which is less biased and more representative of the average African American across the country. African American groups are also split according to exact geography for further pinpoint purposes:

As you can see, African Americans differ according to region but no African American group routinely has 25% non-black That's preposterous according to the samples taken from black Americans in American cities. There's nowhere in America where even the highest tested African Americans had 25% non-black ancestry on average. Most African Americans live in the deep South and as you can see, the average black American has between 1 and 12% non-black ancestry over there, which makes more sense. I imagine Alabama is similar.

Nah after a while your ancestors genetics disappear and most american whites are fully european or very close to it.
