Mark Price wasn't averaging 30 and called the best player on the planet though

Mark Price played in the nba at a time when players actually knew how to play the game of basketball. It's crazy(well very sad) how in this era if an nba player has an ounce of fundamental skills and decent iq he dominates the surrounding competition who can't shake that aau foundation

Would the warriors have beat those cavs, tho?

Art Barr

Yes. That cavs squad was mentally weak outside of mark and hot rod williams. NBA regular games could've went any way. NBA playoffs warriors would win due to team depth. That Cavs team had an atrocious bench.

Steph gets layups because of his great handle. And yes, he's much more athletic than Price.

Curry gets walk in lay ups because how good Golden State's offense is, how much teams overplay Curry when he has or doesn't have the ball, and how the hard doubles that are PnR from big men gets split because they're over aggressive because sinking back is a three pointer.

He's also an extremely gifted with his touch around the rim and his awkward timed lay ups. It's a pick your poison kinda thing. Teams will choose to give up two points by forcing Curry off the three.

Guarding Curry goes against most modern defensive philosophies, especially in the PnR.

I hear ya both, but it's not even just Curry getting walk in layups. I see a weak mind state for big men protecting the paint in general, what happened to taking pride in the paint being THEIR home? I miss dudes getting clocked coming down the lane just off gp.
Like the Thunder collectively watching Klay get an inbound pass and waltz in for a layup with the game on the line is just :mindblown:
Pat Riley would have fined nikkas if the Knicks let that happen

That team had their spirit stolen by mj.
Before that shot,...the bulls and the whole league used to get owned by the cavs on systematic domination levels.
Did you see that team actually play, tho.

Simply put; the best players to ever play in the NBA are the ones who play here now.

Jordan was simply ahead. Just the first of his kind, but the overall skill level of players is much better. Skill sets and Conditioning.

Yeah you got the legends. Kareem's, Magic's Jordan's etc. but they were all exceptions. Watching old school ball is  sometimes. 7'0 white Guy's who surely couldn't be in the league now.

They look amateurish at times. Plenty of players who played in the 90s wouldn't even be in the league today. Maybe on the sixers or something, but not on a contender.

Point is. In a no Zone league. Where Steph Curry could call for an Iso at the top of three point line whenever he wanted, he'd be unstoppable. Athletes in the league today have the best conditioning ever. Are faster and more powerful than ever. And we are in the golden age of point guards.

Go ahead and put John Stockton or Mark Price at the 3 point island with Steph and talk all that "but they legends :smugbiden:" shyt.

Dudes would have gotten lit up for 40 every game. He drops 40 with no space, zones, and two people contesting a Lot of his shots

In an Iso league he'd probably be more deadly than Jordan. Simply because he's money from everywhere. He wouldn't even have to take too many lay ups, and "get physical", if he's money from everywhere above 35 feet.

I'm 34 bruh will be 35 in a couple of months. Of course I saw 89-91 cavs play lol. I was a fan of mark and hot rod. Mark was surgical til his body gave out and hot rod had that fire in him. Bulls had a crazy ass psychological edge over the cavs after those playoff series. Jordan took their soul. Funny thing is that Cavs team matched up well with the bulls but they were just too weak mentally

I'm talking about Coach Riley in the era where you could call people fakkits and play dodgeball in school
It's widely said the Knicks in the 90's had in house fines for letting people get layups. Of course GM Riley isn't doing that in this social media snitching era

Out of all the people you COULD have picked, you picked Mark Price :dead:. A top-20 PG of all-time and one of the 10 best shooters of all-time. Man, you knee grows are silly as fukk.
If Mark Price is a top 20 pg of all time that should tell you how weak the talent level of the league has been throughout history :yeshrug:

Rose, Lowry, Teague, Parker, Conley, Lillard, Kyrie, Wall, Russ, CP3, Steph >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Mark Price.

And that's not even including 00s PGs.

How the hell is Mark Price a top 20 PG of all time? :laff: :laff:
